That dating story is just so typical - as in, we all have to deal with it from time to time if we put ourselves out there. You're dealing with it amazingly... clearly a high-quality girlie who knows what she deserves❤When I wasn't in the mindset to meet somebody seriously I entertained these types of guys and they showed up in my life. It was only when I admitted to myself I wanted something serious that my energy changed and those types of men disappeared. Dating apps are full of avoidant types... secure attachment types aren't on those apps for long, where as the serial short-term daters keep reappearing time after time or are on there for long periods at a time. It naturally over indexes on them, but also... I would still jump back on them cause how else are you gonna meet people?? (And I had a 4 year and 5 year relationship with two different men I met on dating apps - both amazing people I'm still in touch with). Thank you for sharing your real stories with us ❤

I can’t stress how healing it was to hear about your experience about getting ghosted. A guy I had been seeing for a couple weeks and really really liked ghosted me like 24hrs after we did the deed. I can’t tell you how much I cried. It’s genuinely so hard not to internalise that shit 😢 it’s just really comforting to know that it’s not just me and that there really are a holes everywhere.
