ALF has had a great career and was still doing fine last season well into his late 30s at Hibs, my lads favourite player when he was at Bolton.

Interesting to hear Alfie's side of the story with his Sydney exit. Much loved player during his time here, and the uncertainty around his exit (as well as the manager's future) really did hurt the backend of that campaign. Gave us some incredible memories, hope he comes back to Sydney in some capacity after retiring.

Rotherham legend. Best goalscorer we’ve ever had.

As a Peterborough fan, would have loved to seen Alfie play for Posh. Hell of a player, soon as he come on the scene at Stocky you knew he had something about him! Hearing how much he got messed around was an absolute joke. Worth more than that!

That’s the first episode I haven’t enjoyed .A great player in his own head but no one wanted to play him apparently. Lots of woe is me stories.

he's had a lot of issues and most of the clubs he's been at but i dont see much responsibility from him. surely he cant be that oblivious.
