Life in BTSP

Big Trees State Park in Calaveras County, California, is home to two groves of Giant Sequoias and while famous for those, it enjoys a rich variety of other wildlife. September is the shoulder month when life is transitioning to its dormant period through fall and winter into spring, but still fascinating and worth viewing in detail. In any month there's likely to be something unique as in this month of September when thousands of ladybugs gathered together in one spot and I had the good fortune to video them as you'll see here; such an orgy seems unlikely, but that's nature - always surprising and delighting us.
