Congratulations on your family relocation to Canada! Things are expensive here compare to Naija, and if you keep converting the exchange rate, one will be annoyed. One of the ways to save money is to search for open market where you can get veggies at cheaper rate and slaughtering/diary farms where you can buy life stock i.e chicken, goat, cow etc. it's cheaper than buying from store. Also, frozen sea foods stores near you. The only difference is they accept cash (no card). I went thru this few years ago until someone came to my rescue. Good luck

You will definitely find that some of these things you can get them far cheaper for a box or share a box with anyone willing there at wholesale prices. Oh im a hair person. someone once told me, if a man abroad tells you he has never undone his wife´s hair, then you need to question ahahaha. i´m not saying PG didn´t do your hair in Naija (i don´t know) but now he will do it on a reg. One of the first things i was told when i got to Europe, its never convert. Kpomo, my Naija friend told me, i beg i dont buy or eat kpomo. watermelon is my best summer fruits. In southern Italy in Summer it cost like 20 cents per kg and they sell these big ones. you could buy a big one for like 3 or 4 euros. Summer i can eat watermelon everyday
