Just played 4 hours, last check point before div. 4 I won 2 games and lost like 10-15 games. I can’t attack or defend in this game. So insane when I attack they have 9 players in defence instant. But my defence is all over the place and their attack is always at the right place, at the right time. My rage towards this game is infinity

i mean thats how 50% win rate matchmaking works. Its not matching you with randoms. Its matching you with someone the game has calculated you to have a 50% chance of winning against. Thats how it works for 99% of players, except for the very best players since most players are lower rated than them they win a lot more of their games.

Which is silly, matchmaking should be putting you with people around your skill level, not exactly matching. And its not really that the matchmaking is that precise but the game itself gives advantage to the serial loser and disadvantage to the serial winner. EA do the utmost to ensure that nearly everyones win rate is as close to 50% as possible, and the only people this benefits is the lower skill players. In fairness to ea, the lower skill players make up a big part of their playerbase but my opinion is that it is still illogical because casual players play the game LESS, and are less likely to spend money. Any good game, caters to the better and more competitive first and introduces casual play as an alternative, a good alternative but something secondary to the main competition nonetheless. Supporting your veterans, your hardcore fans is the key to building a long term relationship with fans of the game. This approach will pull casuals, but these casuals will drop the game as quick as they picked it up. Its a mentality that prioritising short term gain rather than long term prosperity. Ea have never seen their games as long term investments, and this will catch up to them quite soon, we have seen this with FIFA dissolving their partnership, they no longer view EA sports as a valid partner for the long term either. FIFA has existed long before ea and will be around long after, so their dissolution is further proof of EA’s short term destructive game development. Thanks for reading, keep in mind this is all just my personal view on this.

EA needs to do something about the momentum switch in this game. I’m up 4-1 and this dude gets a fluke goal from me trying to ping it up the field with Ederson and it deflects off his striker and goes in the net and from there on out his whole team just started scoring and running all over my team and I lost 5-4. All from a fluke goal he gets momentum and it’s just faneto from that moment. So fucking nauseating to play Ultimate Team anymore.

One bad pass and I rage quit… sometimes you’re playing out the back and if your opponent presses you it’s hard to create space after a while of passing the ball around the game will decide to fvck u with a terrible pass so the opponent can get the ball I’ve seen it happen and tested it many times

The game is frustrating for sure, but there’s ways to make your attack consistent. I’m in div 2 and I’ve realized that your players time their movements for you to advance the play, which allows you to send those through balls to break the defence. Now 5 back is a different story, but for normal formations it’s not challenging to break teams down if you just study your players movements

just no, Im div 2 and the game has no flow to it, the defensive AI is insane doing perfect offside traps, intercepting every important throughball and the amount of bounce backs and players tumbling over each other. I played so many people who rarely player switch to their CB's and was just the most frustrating shit I've ever played, the game will one hundred percent get worse once we have insane playstyle plus players and more tactics come out. The left stick dribbling is even worse, best dribbler in history Messi can hardly turn away from a gold 82 rated defender.

I've seen a video from BigFads (How To Play Like a Top 1%) recently talking about FC 25 and it completely changed my playstyle.. I just want to say Nick, this isn't a hate comment, I genuinely love your content and I think you're an amazing human being, I mean it. This criticism isn't made to hate but to provide you with a different perspective. It is not a disrespect to your career or your experience at all, you're free to take it or to leave it, however your want but I just want to make you enjoy the game more.. So here's my point : I think you should play football instead of playing this meta crap. A lot of time during the video you've been making some really bad decisions/ moves (player lock, L1 speed boost, uneffective dribbles,...) instead of trying to figure out where the spaces are and how to utilize them. It may sound obvious but I swear you should try to focus, don't always sprint, be patient and composed... I've been doing it and I've created a tactic that suits my playstyle and man I've had some crazy fun, 100%. I'm currently sitting in div 2 using a 50k credit team that suits me. Much love brother

I agree, I was a 4-3-3 cutback and corner rat last year, this year I feel like passing and dribbling is actually rewarding. I'm using a 4-2-2-2 and it's great just looking for a passing option and breaking down defence, although the only problem is the defensive AI is crazy so you have to be patient and spend like 20 in game minutes each time breaking down the defence. That said, sometimes EA just doesn't want you to win but it's best to recognize that and know it's not your fault. Also 5-back is too overpowered so that's a whole different story, especially since all the little Timmys will be using Team Gullit tactics in champs so that will be a straight up purgatory.

The score has been fucked for two Fifas already. Sometimes it doesn't even show either yours or your opponents goal tally, sometimes it stays 1 goal behind etc. But don't be too harsh on EA, they don't have a lot of money and they're trying their best to fix it (sarcasm).
