Great teaching, brother. I follow the dietary guidelines, but what do we say to someone who says Lev. 20:25-26 is tying clean/unclean meats to Israel and the nations, so once Jesus broke down that wall, allowing Gentiles/those of the nations to come near, the requirement to follow the dietary guidelines is removed?

I’ve struggled my entire life with severe depression as well as prob 25 other symptoms that make me less than successful at life and quite disfunctional. For this reason I tend to not enjoy being alive. My entire childhood including my 20s, I was very upset at my parents for having me. I did not ask to be born. I don’t want to be here. And NOW your telling me I deserve to go to hell just for being born??? 😳🤯😡 Can anyone explain this. I’m surprised I have never heard anyone else ask that question! I’ve recently watched some of Johnathan Kleck videos and have been introduced to the concept that we may have existed before coming to earth. We may have been sent here as punishment for rebellion against God. THIS is the Only explanation that made sense and helped me not resent my life!! The idea that I deserved death before I was even born suddenly makes this life a treasure no matter how difficult it’s been because otherwise I could have been sent straight to hell without a chance for redemption! Can anyone confirm if this is actually true? I do NOT like how Jonathan uses the creation scriptures to “prove” that Elohim (satan and his angels) are the ones who created flesh bodies?? It’s really confusing. But the concept that we were angels before we were exiled to a life sentence here on earth in “ DNA chains of darkness” because of our original sin of rebellion kind of makes sense to me. Can anyone explain this concept with biblical support at all!? Also if we are exiles where were we exiled from unless we were with God prior to being born in the flesh!? Thank you I appreciate any input!! 🤍🙏
@cnmordecai3 жыл бұрын
Hello, Johnathon Klerk is a heretic who should not be listened to. God is the creator of all things(John 1:3,Colossians 1:15-18). We were not angels nor did we exist before birth. However, life is a gift. A gift we did not deserve. No matter how tough life is, we still have reason to be grateful. Search the scriptures for your answers. I pray that in Christ you will find the joy and peace that has eluded you all these years. God Bless and please feel free to respond with any questions. Jesus loves you and gave you life for a reason.

To be a Jew back then was more than just the biblical stuff. In the culture of the first-century to be a Jew was also the Traditions the Customs that were created overtime. @@nathanieldiaz2845 Prostitution is definitely not a sin, unless you can show me otherwise. Israel had male & female prostitutes, no where is either practising prostitution or engaging with one defined as a sin. Leviticus 18 is a good chapter to start with to define an actual unlawful sexual relation. Obviously if you were a male you could not sleep with a male prostitute BUT interestingly there is no prohibition for a woman not to lie with another woman! Again no where does it say that this is beneficial but it is not a sin. A man having more than one woman was also not an issue, so I guess sometimes sex outside of marriage is an interesting term. It was a sin to marry a woman outside of Israel or to want to lie with your neighbours woman... I guess we could go on but perhaps look at it in scripture and let the Ruach haKodesh guide you in to ALL truth. I just think it odd when people who tend to watch these videos chuck out a lot of what they have been told regarding scripture but for some reason hold onto other things... Like they say "test everything".

@@torahfoundation I appreciate your response its nice to see a comment on KZbin that doesn't devolve to mud slinging! Legit thank you. What follows is a small sample of some scriptures and some commentary on my part. “‘Do not debase your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land will not fall into prostitution and become full of shame. Vayikra (Lev) 19:29 CJB As it regards prostitution this was a sin that not only effected the woman but the land God was giving them. Mind you chapter divisions we're added only 1000 years ago, they are helpful but remember that the above passage is apart of variously commands that end with Be Holy because I am Holy in chapter 20:7-8. Not sure how one could read this and say prostitution is no a sin. Don’t you know that your bodies are parts of the Messiah? So, am I to take parts of the Messiah and make them parts of a prostitute? Heaven forbid! Don’t you know that a man who joins himself to a prostitute becomes physically one with her? For the Tanakh says, “The two will become one flesh”; but the person who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Run from sexual immorality! Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the fornicator sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don’t belong to yourselves; for you were bought at a price. So use your bodies to glorify God. 1 Corinthians (1 Co) 6:15-20 CJB This is important just like Yeshua went to the deeper meaning behind the Genesis concept of one man and one woman, Sha'ul shows us that there is a deeper revelation behind the concept of 2 becoming one through sexual activity. Which it just so happens was also a typical Rabbinic understanding of the time. Which is to say it's not something he made up on the spot or was considered special revelation. And we continue Now to the single people and the widows I say that it is fine if they remain unmarried like me; but if they can’t exercise self-control, they should get married; because it is better to get married than to keep burning with sexual desire. 1 Corinthians (1 Co) 7:8-9 CJB Sexual desire is what lust is. There is no way to watch porn and no lust its no possible. I think this is a good point to also mention that the Torah doesn't go into every detail on somethings cause we are expected to understand the meaning. You said that it does say a man cant sleep with a man, but never mentions a woman sleeping with a woman. When the Pharisees were being over technical about marriage Yeshua pointed them to Genesis one man and one woman. We can come to the Torah in a over technical way focused so much on the specific letters of the law that we forget the intent or as the bible puts it the Spirit behind the Law. Sex was designed as something to be between a man and a woman. When the 2 become one which us an act of marriage or its supposed to be. That is the Spirit behind the Laws on sexual sin. That is why we know that sexual activity is not only supposed to be between a married couple but then also that a married couple can only be a man and woman. When you account for that all one is left with is a definition of sexual sin that is anything sexual outside of marriage. “No woman of Isra’el is to engage in ritual prostitution, and no man of Isra’el is to engage in ritual homosexual prostitution. Nothing earned through heterosexual or homosexual prostitution is to be brought into the house of Adonai your God in fulfillment of any vow, for both of these are abhorrent to Adonai your God. D'varim (Deu) 23:18-19 CJB You said they had prostitutes in Israel and they did, but they werent supposed to as already stated, the example I gave from Leviticus. Just because they had that happening doesn't make it ok. Throughout the prophets God accuses them of allowing this. It more then just not beneficial it something God is agianst. And it is perfectly evident what the old nature does. It expresses itself in sexual immorality, impurity and indecency; involvement with the occult and with drugs; in feuding, fighting, becoming jealous and getting angry; in selfish ambition, factionalism, intrigue and envy; in drunkenness, orgies and things like these. I warn you now as I have warned you before: those who do such things will have no share in the Kingdom of God! Galatians (Gal) 5:19-21 CJB Porn being a form of prostitution is, as I hope I have established for you, sexually immoral, impure it's profane according to God. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and glittered with gold, precious stones and pearls. In her hand was a gold cup filled with the obscene and filthy things produced by her whoring. On her forehead was written a name with a hidden meaning, BAVEL THE GREAT MOTHER OF WHORES AND OF THE EARTH’S OBSCENITIES Revelation of Yeshua to Yochanan (Rev) 17:4-5 CJB Most other English translations will use the word prostitution in place of whores. Which begs the question, this person, Who is considered almost the epitome of evil and sin is called the mother of prostitutes/whores... so how is that not sin not something God is agianst? The daughter of a cohen who profanes herself by prostitution profanes her father; she is to be put to death by fire. Vayikra (Lev) 21:9 CJB Notice that the act of prostitution is a profane act. As a result of that which stands alone it also profanes the Father, which in this case a levite priest, means death. But agian the act of prostitution is itself a profane act. And porn is just prostitutes with an audience. It is profane according to God. It leads to Lust and sexual desire that isn't after one's own spouse. There is more but obviously I have given alot already. I assume you will go through them and comment which i am sure will lead to discussion. Hope you have a good day brother (I assume your a guy? Lol) I'll check back later.

The new testament has an emphasis on believing and trusting in jesus and his work of salvation or grace and not the commandments of YHWH. The holiness that they are speaking of is centered on keeping this new concept at the center of our mind and therefore emphasising the worship of God through jesus . But the end result is idolatry because it, NT entices us to worship one who is said to be equal with God or like God on earth. There is not commandment or instruction from YHWH to believe in, tust in or have faith in a man by the name jesus. The Torah(Gods word) tells us that the keeping of the commandments should be our focus and that obedience to them will effect our outcome and make us right in YHWHs eyes. Deu 26:17 Thou hast avouched YHWH this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in His ways, and keep His statutes, and His commandments, and His ordinances, and hearken unto His voice. Deu 26:18 And YHWH hath avouched thee this day to be His own treasure, as He hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all His commandments; Deu 26:19 and to make thee high above all nations that He hath made, in praise, and in name, and in glory; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto YHWH thy God, as He hath spoken. Deu 28:8 YHWH will command the blessing with thee in thy barns, and in all that thou puttest thy hand unto; and He will bless thee in the land which YHWH thy God giveth thee. Deu 28:9 YHWH will establish thee for a holy people unto Himself, as He hath sworn unto thee; if thou shalt keep the commandments of YHWH thy God, and walk in His ways. Isa_5:16 But YHWH of hosts is exalted through justice, and God the Holy One is sanctified through righteousness. Isa 43:10 Ye are My witnesses, saith YHWH, and My servant whom I have chosen; that ye may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He; before Me there was no God formed, neither shall any be after Me. Isa 43:11 I, even I, am YHWH; and beside Me there is no saviour.

The new testament does indeed emphasize following the law just as the old does. It is up to each of us to hear and listen to what is being told. The connections and teachings are unmistakable and interwoven as an extension of the latter days from when the instructions were originally given.
@jameshayden87893 жыл бұрын
@@baleu42 Yes the law is mentioned several times but the keeping of it as followers of jesus is not emphasised. Paul disparages the keeping of the law and says that you are cursed for keeping it but braggs about his own obedience to it all the while chastising Peter for keeping it as he sits with the Jews. Paul even says we are dead to the law because of the body of christ as if God( the husband) had died. Paul refers to the law as sin and death and then claims jesus to be the spirit of life that frees us from the law. He calls it weak and beggerly. and claims that our minds cannot be subject to Gods law. He even claims that righteousness cannot come by the keeping of the law. My point is that these statements and many more throughout the NT undermine any positive statements about the law and de-emphasis the keeping of it. Compare all that Paul claims about the law with Psalms 119 and how David percieved the Torah of YHWH. Its night and day.
