Last year the snow came early but it was kinda scarce, it took months to build enough for skiing and once there was enough snow, the cold hit us hard. We had -30c for 45 days straight, so all you could do is sit on your hands - which is why washing hands is so important At least my school was like the japanese school is, everyone was lined up to wash hands and only after that you could go and eat. I might or might not have used the same wool socks over the regular socks for couple of months last winter at home 🤭

The snowfall was so unfair this week in Helsinki area, we had 15 cm very heavy sleet on Wednesday, then at least the same amount of snow on top of it on Thursday here in Espoo. One friend commented from Vuosaari that what is this snow mayhem everyone is talking about, there's no snow... As someone with own yard and no yard /road maintenance service, I just hate snow.

I don't usually wear socks inside the house, and since I work from home I usually wear them only when I visit the local store which is 500 meters away. No need to change them every day.

There are countrys, where lot more people do not wash their hands after toilet. As a mother, I often spent time in the washrooms changing diapers. In France I have often seen more than 50% of women not washing their hands. But some still check their lipstick.

I personally think Finland is a hygienic country overall.

Millainen valikoima Stockalla oli? 😊 Ostin sieltä kengät 10+ vuotta sitten, ja ovat vieläkin käytössä. Moni on sanonut ettei vaatepuolen valikoima ole enää niin hyvä. 🤔

I've seen MANY japanese men in Japan who don't wash their hands after going to the toilet. Or only using water, no soap. And then many japanese rinse their mouth after coming home. But still only use water to wash their hands, what?

That's not hygienic.

Nice jacket. But no proper hat! Btw, have you ever practiced martial arts? Helsinki has a lot of budo styles, but also numerous Koryu styles, such as Niten ichi ryu, Suio ryu, etc.

We practiced Judo and Kendo at school, and in Helsinki I attended some kickboxing classes.
