Hi there,
Thanks so much for watching!
My social media-
Insta handles- arushikulz02( arushikulz0...) & arushisworld02
LinkedIn- / arushikulshreshth
Shubham's LinkedIn- / imssr104
I graduated from NC State university with a masters in engineering management & currently I am working as a senior project manager.
I love to travel the world and you will always find me hopping to my next adventure.
If you are planning a masters abroad, please just remember one thing- There will be times when it wont feel fun, you will be alone and second guess everything! Social media influencers tend to showcase only the positive sides (I am guilty of that too!), however nobody talks of how hard it gets sometimes. You will face isolation, loneliness, vulnerability and you will get STRONGER but you should know its not an easy ride.
Please be sure to make your own decision- ask for advices everywhere, take into account the reasonings behind each opinion, however please make sure the final decision of choosing the university, country, course etc is your own!!

2 points I guess were missed in my opinion : i) There are a lot of universities providing great job opportunities (location) and are cheap. (getting Internship - (30% people did even in this market) literally handles 50% of it and if you do part time it's almost 0 cost) ii ) PPP only comes in when we're settling-in which is not the case for most of us because of visa scenario. In that case everything comes down to saving money ( which I still think would be atleast 35% more than India with same lifestyle) / experience and learnings you'll have. Although totally agree with the point of delaying the master's process while you can because of market :) Thanks again for making this video!

I feel like For now it's not the best time to go to USA either way. Better option is to remain here only and keep watching the correct time to fly for USA. Best of luck 👍

To be honest this economy is surely very harsh for international students to find jobs in. It’s picking up slowly but still a huge gamble.

So basically based on PPP is makes sense to work in Senegal where in IT maintenance I can make USD 250 per month n live like a king....enjoy everything that I can do in India at 1-2 lpa job. so lets all go to Africa n work for 100 to 200 USD per month job !!! Ye we will be equivalent to someone making USD100K in US or 25lpa in India

hi! I'm going for my undergrad in the US. I feel having a $70,000 job isn't bad there. Yes, there would be the PPP leading to expenses. But say I spend 2k on rent each month, 1.5k on other amenities and live a decent life - not so lavish but okay-ish life? so that's around 45k. You do save up 25k USD which is quite a lot. THAT is something you can use simply in INR to say, pay your bills and loans. And say you earn in 6 figures... yes you might perhaps live a more lavish life but you would still save up lacks of rupees and it's not like there is not difference in the savings here in India vs at US. Am I correct? I know your decision was based off of the job market, which not just in the US or India, but is f*ed up in the entire world right now, especially for the "white collar jobs" that are for people right out of college. But do you think it's a good decision to go abroad?

How is the indiana university bloomington for ms finance for making career in investment banking??
@yogitabaviskar8900

Hey Kashish, I have been researching MS Finance for a long time now and you must know a few things before going for MS Finance in the US. A. The program must be STEM. Not all are STEM certified. B. While the cost of living would be lower in the mid-west, the opportunities also become less. The best chances for MS Finance in Indiana would be either Ford/ General Motors or other big companies operating in the mid-west depending on their economy. C. It would be either as Financial Analyst or if you have any technical background then,Business Analyst D. The program outcomes mentioned on the university page for MS Finance may also be not completely true, along with the median salary. E. For Investment banking specifically, international students absolutely do not stand a chance because they prefer domestic students, someone who is already with 2 or more internships with banks. They prefer to hire at Analyst level (thats where you would also start) right after bachelors, masters students as well are not that commonly hired. F. You would be better suited at a shot to get into Investment Banking by doing an MBA,if you have at least 2 years of experience. G. Talk to a LOT of graduates, both MS Finance or MBA to understand the program outcome and postgraduation scope for an international student. This is whats top of my mind. But please do research well and make sure if you do end up choosing to do an MS Finance, try to have networks if youre not in the New York -New Jersey-Connecticut triangle or Boston/Chicago/San Fransisco.

@@yogitabaviskar8900 hii dear... Can you plsss suggest me which universities is good for ms finance which are also in budget of35 lakh?? Indiana university ms finance is stem designated and i also have seen many indian students get into investment banking after that ms

@@kashishgoyal1414 honestly,no good school worth their salt would be 35lakhs and below. That too for the entire program unless youve got scholarships or its a state school in lesser known states/regions. Indiana bloomington is a good school,I wont say no its just that it would be really really really difficult to break into Investment Banking from there. Theres a community where you can ask all things Investment banking,PE/VC etc, its call Wall Street Oasis. Tons of resources. Also, check on google what school is best for entry into Investment Banking. Also check what banks recruit at which schools in the US. No matter what, breaking into Investment banking is tough unless you grind and have hustler mindset and network like Crazy! With an MBA from a reputed school like NYU STERN, you at least get a chance to interview for IB.

@@kashishgoyal1414 also, most investment banks wont sponsor visas. Keep that in mind as well.

Hey I agree with Yogita, please do find out if it’s STEM designated because lots of finance and MBA courses aren’t STEM and it would make no sense to spend that much money for just a year of OPT.
