I have never seen so many pavers anywhere. The wide sidewalks are so inviting and comfortable, showing respect for pedestrians more than cars. This creates a very human and idyllic atmosphere. Frankly, i envy that. I wonder whether this is some type of model town or company town that has been planned, and did not simply evolve in the usual haphazard way. Some context would be useful.

Rietavas is an old lithuanian povincial town far from any company business etc, evolved naturally .

One thing I learnt early on is that Lithuanians love nature, peace and quiet. These people are northerners. This video shows that perfectly. Lots of nature, lots of space, clean, well-kept and quiet.
