I'm not a student there, but as far as I know there is no need for another degree. Also it is not necessary to have Qur'an memorised. But it is good if you have memorised to some extent. But through the studies students have to memorize Quran.

Also if you get accepted and if you don't know Arabic well, you have to study Arabic language for two years and then you can choose faculty to study.

I applied and got accepted. At madinah university is you get accepted its an automatic scholarship for any subject you want to do.
