Tried looking into practical nursing at NBCC, but it seems it's no longer available for international students

I'm currently in the PSW program at NBCC because, unfortunately, they don't allow international students to apply directly to the Practical Nursing program. However, the great thing is that the PSW and PN students share the same curriculum in the first year(we all take the same courses,labs and clinical’s together). This means that my PSW program essentially serves as the first year of the nursing program. Once I complete my PSW, I can transfer my credits to continue my nursing education at another institution. This pathway allows me to pursue my nursing career effectively!

You can try Nova Scotia community college,colleges of the North Atlantic,or holland college in Prince Edward Island. They all offer direct admissions only thing is the possibility of being waitlisted is a bit higher cause nursing is a very competitive program. If these don’t suit you, you could look at colleges/universities the bigger provinces. The schools I listed here are in the Atlantic region and they are a bit more affordable. Good luck!

I went on the school website to check the courses they have but it’s still bachelors degree they have I was thinking of coming there for my masters 😢your vlogs made me love NBCC I’ve seen so many vlogs but none as detailed as yours thank you for that. But that province looks expensive 15% tax on everything is killing me 😅Girl math is making me rethink 😂😂
