Thanks Alia! I lived this life with the little xmas trees and sparkly lights in nyc when i was young, and it’s a joy watching you and ur dude still doing. Things have changed since my first nyc xmas in 2008 when i lived in williamsburg. We left nyc for mexico in 2018 and as much as i love living at the beach and having a groovy little life… nothing beats nyc this time of year and you captured my experience so closely. as someon from the colder side of europe can you explain climate in new york city for me? Shes not wearing any jacket or scarf while getting christmas decorations while people in the background do. How warm/cold is it exactly in december, I always heard new york gets cold - I am so confused??😂

She said that it was about 33 F, which is about 0,5 C, I’m from Poland and here we have -7 C 🤪 so cold!

NYC is weird in that it varies a lot in temperature in December. Today it was around 54 F, but it can get well below freezing. So if you are coming to NYC in December bring a variety of different jackets and coats because you never know! 😂

@@Wie-gt7ifWhen she didn’t have the jacket or scarf on looking for Christmas decorations it was a different day. Don’t think it was 33 then. Like I said NYC has major temperature shifts in December from the 50s to the 20s so you never know. Can vary a lot from one day to the next.

that day wasn't very cold i think it was 55 F or so but then the next day it was 40. It's been really really cold and then weirdly warm. I am also wearing heattech underneath which keeps you very warm but if I didn't wear that I would've also worn a jacket 😅
