I can't describe how incredible you are. You are one of the most multifaceted, talented people I have ever come across. You are so inspirational for me, because you are literally everything I strive to be but somehow can't achieve. This was beautiful. I loved the intro and outro, we need more people to talk like that. Because sometimes it can be viewed as pretentious but really its reality, and I think calling it pretentious is just a backlash of not wanting to think about life because yeah it's scary and weird. I'm feeling sad in a nostalgic way today, and I kinda was thinking of how I tend to think like that a lot. Romanticise the past, and think there's just something missing now that there wasn't then. I think we all do that to some degree. I don't know why and I don't know what the solution is. But hey, cupcakes are a thing.

It's pretty easy to meet new people in NYC. You can use this site called Meetup to meet people who have similar interests to you. There's also Eventbrite, and you can find events/talks and you can meet even more people at them. Trust me, it's not impossible.

Can I just say that I was having one of the worst days today, feeling like my life is spiraling out of control and like I can't do anything to fix it. I'm a senior in college and struggling in every way a college kid does, and this morning I was just about ready to throw my hands up and give up.
