Some of the people try to keep their humanity in the void, others do not. Love your work breadman

i love how freely this video shifts its tone! every funny moment, like the guy trying to get the glimberance to pay rent, is followed neatly by something darker that keeps the threads of plot together without being jarring. i also love this new face/name/voice guy. i feel so bad for him, tall red demon guy is SO hateable

Funnily enough, I made this because I had a bunch of ideas for different stories to tell in the void, around December. I kept starting new stories and not finishing old ones, and yesterday when I took a day for myself, I strung them together, made extra scenes to stitch things up and did all the editing, sound and voice recordings in one day. I'm really glad you enjoyed this and felt like the plot had a good flow!

Alright alright, so after watching a few videos about the void i think i got the basic jjist of the story or atleast how most of these creatures function Basically, some of them use 'games' to solve discourse/issues nonverbally and nonviolently. Depending on the size of the problem, the more complex the 'Game' will be. For example, when the creature in apartment wastes their welcome and the apartment owner complains. The creature doesn't shoot to kill. It aims just a few inches away from the homeowners foot as a warning. It's clear it doesn't want to escalate, just a place to stay and given the situation it's fear of leaving is pretty valid. When the Homeowner threatens violence, the chessboard is brought out as a solution and a way to settle their issue. In a world were an verbal argument can escalate in a way that can get them both killed by fighting eachother (or they both get left with lasting injuries that leave them vulnerable or they make enough noise that attracts unwanted attention) it's better for all parties involved. The larger and more complex a being is, the more advanced their game will be. Also chances are most of the beings are mute by their biology, so it's just a way to solve issues without talking. I could make a whole video on this-

The fact the last glimbrance wanted to play chess must mean the other glimbrance in the house with the yellow man could hear him tell it that he loved it.

Sometimes aftereffects, sometimes i draw the frames by hand. All character models are made on mobile. All the purgaliminal storytelling vids are made purely on mobile
