I'm gonna get real nerdy with it. You down? Let me know any terms that confuse you in technology in the comments. Who knows? The next video could be the answer! - Heather

Congrats on this reinvention! You are radiating excitement. Since you solicited our questions or confusions about tech, rather, I'll throw my hat in: as a person with a non-tech, non-engineering, non-coding background (actually, a social scientist/qualitative researcher) I keep hearing about so many avenues to cross over into tech, yet I can't find a concise, clear map of what those are, how quickly they are being saturated, what kinds of backgrounds predominate in those roles. So if you have resources to point to, or you plan on making that content, I'd be happy to follow along!

You're right. We create the world we live in by the way we think about and the way we talk about it. When we change the way we think about a thing, the thing we think about changes.

I already commented on how happy you seem Heather, and that makes me happy too. But, I have to admit some wistful nostalgia for the days when you were putting out review videos and we were all actively involved in wig discussions here (I am not on FB any more, maybe that is still going but I am missing out on it). I get a tear about it every so often. Hugs.

All terms confuse me. I’m clueless. I’d like to understand anything about it. I’m a new born who hasn’t taken a step. Now my daughter she could benefit from this idea for sure. She got out of hair after 12 years. In her new job she is the person everyone goes to when they don’t know how to do something in the programs they have. She made “handbooks” for how to use them. They call it the Bible. She’s been there only a year and a half. Her first office job ever. I’d love to help Her see her full potential. She thinks it’s no big deal. I’m so excited for you! Congratulations on your new journey. Sounds amazing. I’m happy for you and Nigel. Although I’m sure he misses you. Thank you Heather for sharing this info with us. Wishing you continued success!!!

Yeah, Gina, I do find it a bit depressing when Heather's off on her business jaunts, but she keeps coming back, so that's all right. 😉 Sound slike your daughter has a promising career ahead of her! I don't believe in luck, so I'll wish her success, instead. -Nigel

So is Hairkittykitty done after the wigs are all sold?
@CysterWigs

Hi, Julie! Well, I can't make any promises one way or the other, we'll just have to see how things go. We're still testing out some new ideas and angles, and we need to see how those pan out, first. But if all goes well enough, we've still got some more product ideas that we could fund, with decent sales. I know this isn't the definitive kind of answer you were hoping for, but it's the honest one I can give you, at the moment. - Nigel

Wow. You're talking to meeee 😅. I've been a silent follower for years. Just got my Ambrose in Royal Velvet today. Love it. So,. I have 3 tech/science degrees. AAS in Biotechnology. AAS in Web Development and a BA in Sociology. Guess what I do for a living .... Grocery Management. And it's literally killing me. I'm well educated. I can code the std front end languages. Intermediate JavaScript, php. Too much to write here. I have a few small websites online. Adobe literate. Working on my graphics skills. I just can't seem to bring myself to apply. I was a drywaller by trade since 18. I took some time to get the Biotech degree and subsquently worked in environmental labs and pharma until my company laid off globally. That's the only white collar world I've known. Then I went back to drywall and got my coding degree. Been trying to become a "real" developer since 2019. Have to work meanwhile. It's hard to build a portfolio when you're already working a physically demanding job. I have so many questions. Like, what do you think the most critical languages to master are? How did you get your first job? Did you build a portfolio? How did you get into the community? School teaches you how to code. There's so much more to learn after that, a massive gap. I am actively working on some Google Certs to add to the skills list. I'm tied into a lot of communities, recovery, trauma(I serve as a volunteer crisis advocate), and spiritual. I've long dreamed of creating a mentoring program to help women get into tech. But money ahhhh. I admire this about you. Respect. PS sorry for the novella !

Why are the older wig reviews being re-uploaded to us? Cysterwigs units are so much better than the rest.

Thank you, Colleen! About the older videos -- I originally took them down because I was planning to pivot away from selling other company's brands and focus on my own wigs. Then I thought: well, they'd STILL be useful resources, so I'm trickling them back out again.
