I watched this movie for the first time this morning and I couldn't stop crying at the end. Now I understand why Central do Brasil did not win the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1999. Roberto Benigni deserved the awards too much.

I saw this movie. I don't know, the idea was very strange to begin with, but the execution of it was even worse. Comedy and the Holocaust just does not mix. I heard Steven Speilberg walked out on it and I don't blame him
