I wish they came out with a game where it's RTS like Anno 1404 or Feudal where you can build and interact with other player, but it also has a first person survival element where you live in a city that someone else is building and ruling. You can hop on ships and go to other people's cities and live, adventure, quest, and survive there. This would be amazing. You could get caught up in a war or even join the war as a single soldier. This game would be perfect.

@@bryanfury6833 Maybe try researching these games before commenting? In Mount & Blade you CAN NOT build a castle. You can take over a village and add a castle to it, but there is no customization to it whatsoever. Piss poor game design by the publisher. I guess they think no one wants a RTS "castle builder" game, LMAO!

@@atlantic_love I have a thousand hours spent in M&B and from that knowledge I can verify that you can build buildings and invest in buildings inside cities, interaction is possible with NPCs these interactions can range from a fetch quest to marriage, at the start of the game you must utilize taverns inside settlements to retreat from enemy parties therefore you must "live in a city someone else is ruling", also you can "hop" on ships with the viking conquest expansion, finally you can also start wars or take part in one as a soldier or a general. MAYBE you should try researching other's comments before making a fool out of yourself.

@@bryanfury6833 You are right, there are actually multiple mount and blade games that have functions like this. However I think the original commenter meant a game where there was minimal NPCs but it was basically a virtual society. Maybe NPC merchants, traders, guards, warriors, etc? But other than that the other players were real playing players. And you could travel to other nations and country’s. Obviously a game of this magnitude and sheer capacity would take a long time, and could probably only be possible with future technology. Higher performance computers, consoles. It would be a lot of fun, and might be possibly in the near future.

Theres a new game, currently in early release called Kingdoms. Check it out, mechanics and graphics are still a bit ganky but has nice elements

You can't really do anything about them any way... useless disasters. The tornado especially. Fires may ruin you, but it's either "they'll put it out" or the ultra rare... "omg people are starving and this is the 5th fire in a row= reload previous save"

This is definitely getting more exciting than your crazy Transport Fever series! I suggest to upgrade towers and walls randomly keeping at least some at the lower height, in order to add more realism; Castles were always asymmetrical and with different defensive elements. Freaking awesome stuff Skye, you definitely have to finish this! ;D

Don't upgrade and heighten the gate too much, the real castle will look more impressive by comparisson. Maybe two lamp posts on the inside of the gate on either side of the entrance? Lamp posts all along the main road to the castle? A well for the donkey and his establishment? :)

Hi Skye. Use the 100% terraforming mod. It make the task almost instantaneous. It will save you hours for this project. I use it with no crashes. Can't wait to watch this project. Good luck!! 👍

It's the Smaller Building Footprints mod (at 2:48 in the video), and he only enabled it for fortifications, because some of the other buildings may have been broken (specifically the school) at the time the video was made.

Watching with a few days delay because of life. Now, if you want to "walk around" in these, you should check out Life Is Feudal Your Own. Where you are in First Person all of the time, and can build it all yourself, but co-op is an option. But the survival is brutal. Another reason to check out LiFYo is the intro of the game featuring Sean Bean (of course) who is not dying for a change. :) You can also find the intor of LiFYo on youtube of course.

You are doing a great job! I am always waiting for your vids! How you present the vids is good, timelaps and first person and explaining how to place those walls is really neat! I have a idea that could help you to make it faster. If you see a big place for stone, place mines and make a little village around that. Try to put it in your circle for the big city of course so they can dig the stone and use the donkeys to collect the stone from there and bring it to a barn (also place a barn where you are building) were you are building so the the builders and helpers don't have to walk to far. If you don't get what I mean say it and I will try to explain it better. But thx for the great vids and more polls is a GREAT idea!! :D I love to interact with you! You are doing a really great job

25:20 i would HIGHLY recommend putting a temporary Warehouse and 2 stone mines in that courtyard, to allow the workers closer access to stone as you continue building the huge perimiter walls.. Might even be better to put the mines and warehouse on the other side of the moat, since the interior part will probably require the most stone right? Just isnt feasible to have the villages running ALL the way back to the fishing village.

The caravan stable roofs would allow a possible enemy to jump unto the wall... Not sure about the bridge, I think it has to many lanterns now. (I pitty the guy needing to light them. ;) ) Still, it definately looks great in general and I look forward to see the next episode!

Hi, This looks great, but you can use the wall peace to elevate the ground. Have a wall a long side the river and flat the terrain in the middle with some farms or houses and then wall ages with for new elevation. And a path along side the river/lake with different stuff there. Like so far :)
