Was just watching and saw we have the same lantern. They give off really nice warmth at night. Juat bought my first sailboat out of Deep Bay and Trinune was my first trip. Then Desolation with a friend for a few weeks. Thanks for the vids.

When I saw Devlin I smiled from ear to ear. You two together complete the serenity of these beautiful excursions. I had to pause and reflect on the pairing of the music with the video. This is not something I would notice since your videography and your boat and your lady and the scenery is so fantastically beautiful but the music was so well chosen that I felt it needed mention. I truly believe that my life is prolonged as I am always left with the most peaceful calm after viewing your masterpieces. Thank you so much for taking us along. Hi Devlin! 💞 .................⛵⛵⛵

Alfie, I'm not sure what it is but your videos always make my heart sing. Seeing you and Devlin out enjoying a short walk was wonderful. Hoping your summer fulfilled all your needs and desires, may you have a beautiful fall and winter.

So great to hear you enjoy seeing our sailing adventures through our lens. Summer is never long enough, but next season we have no major refit projects planned so there should be a lot more time for cruising. I hope you have a great Fall and Winter as well. :)

Great channel, great boat. Only thing I don't like is furlers on a classic boat. Whatever, I can live with them. Subcribed and I will keep following.
@lifeislikesailing Жыл бұрын
Thank you and we try to keep things simple, but yes the curlers make a difference for short handed or single handed sailing, so it is a compromise. :)

Great video. That's not so much a "hike" as an obstacle course.

So satisfying to listen to a calm and collected, intelligent Canadian cruising couple, versus the US and some other click baiting cruising couples, screaming like I am so excited, like this is amazing, like it's a dolphin, like I am so uncomfortable because like the boat is rolling, like, like, like puke. Travel safely.
@lifeislikesailing Жыл бұрын
I know what you mean and I think the problem with many sailing channels these days is that there are just too many people wanting to be you tubers and not enough wanting to be sailors. ha. So glad you enjoy seeing our adventures on the water through our lens. 🙏
