It is because the biggest battle is with self denial, the enemy knows he has no power over Jesus and those filled with His Spirit, but he also knows that most won't endure the self denial it takes to walk in such truth. This word is rich and well seasoned, The responsibility to obey after hearing will be great. While the enemy may be upset at his kingdom being exposed, he also sees a great opportunity to bring accusations against those who continue to disobey after having come to the knowledge of the truth.
