Walking Dead: Video game and Life Is Strange is my favorite story focused games so far. The only minor con about this was that ''lesbian love'' stuff. I mean it would have been better with boy and girl but Like I said it was minor con. Overal this game is beatifully handcrafted and I look forward to next instalment to this franchise. I personally didnt cry at the end but it really changed how I view certain things... This song is really amazing and fit the atmosphere of Life is Strange. And am I only one who feels bad about Rachel 's fate in Original Life Is Strange? I dont know why developers of this franchise put me to this state of emotion... I just feel sad and empty.

I feel like every Life is Strange and Life is strange before the storm players are sad or depressed. Even if this game is totally awesome. I mean in the comments section you can "see" everyone crying. This game makes you grow up and understand things that non-LIS players can't understand. And weirdly, you feel like you have a connection with Chloe, Max and Rachel. Like you were truly know them, you love them. I actually don't have friends in "real life". This theme reminds me of being 16, living with a single mother who worked retail, skipping school to smoke & drink before eventually dropping out. During that time I played this game and felt so Seen. Life has gotten so much better but this song still gives me some comfort when I'm feeling stressed. It reminds me of all the hard times I've been through and reminds me that if so many people can love Chloe Price even with all the crap she's been through, then I'm worthy of love too. Soundtracks for LIS and Before the storm are quite similar but slightly differ to suit the main characters. Before the storm has more, umm, angst? Since chloe is the main character, and LIS is indie-ish, soft, since it's for Max. Nonetheless, both are so nice you'll find yourself lost in these sounds. Relaxed and emotional at the same time.

After 2 years I'm still completely mesmerized by the first game. I bumped into a few ads on the internet that a prequel LiS is coming or sometinhg, but I didn't really pay attention, I was concerned with my everyday life more then. Then, on the first days of September I opened Steam and seen that Before the Storm has just come out. Suddenly a huge warm feeling run through my body and mind and immediately bought it on Sunday afternoon. I started the game very excitedly, when the Unity logo came up and I heard the first strings of this beatiful music I instantly thought, damn here we go again. Fellow soulmates from the other end of the world made another masterpiece and I can be in Arcadia Bay again. Fininshed ep1 right away, best Sunday of this year. Also, all the memories and feelings came back from the first game and I was suprised how attached I still was to everything and everyone. Such a masterfully crafted atmosphere, just by listening to these songs I get into my Life is Strange state right away... Songs in LiS are like emotions translated into tunes and music.

Found LIS only two weeks ago for me and (for the healing of my soul) also Before The Storm. In more than 25 years of playing Games I never had so much emotions regarding a Game, not so much fun and so much suffer at the same time. So many heartbreaking moments, so many tears to cry. I never found a Game that forces me to play it over and over again and (right when I finished) I had to start again. I played LIS now about 4 times and LIS Before The Storm Episode 1 5 times in last two weeks. Listening to the perfect soundtracks the rest of the time. Bought 2 albums from daughter 3 days ago.

Chloe alot actually i didnt have almost any friends just people i knew but never really trusted i had a rough home life and felt abandoned when my mom left (like chloe felt when william died) i did horribly in school after that because i didnt care i was smart enough to easily pass the classes i just didnt care about school i turned to video games and food as comfort from the abandonment issues and constant bullying and i hated everything and everyone who wasnt my dad (like chloe with her mom) then i played life is strange and fell in love with it i know it sounds cheesy but it changed my life i was still angry but i knew why i was angry and i knew who to be angry towards it made me realize that no matter who the person is we've all went through something in our lives so theres no reason to be mad at a world that didnt do anything to you i learned what true friendship looks like and that as long as you have true friends it wont matter if you have 1 or 100 you'll never go through anything alone so i relate to chloe in a way but also i dont

Spoilers I suppose. It always annoys me so much when people talk about how much they hate Chloe, or how saving Arcadia Bay was the easiest choice of their life. Those people not only missed some of the points of the first game, but obviously have never played Before the Storm. They harp on about how selfish Chloe was, while not realizing that all the characters in this game are flawed, and that's what makes them so good. There was not a single character who was ever truly flawless, and it's demonstrated over and over. A message the game tells us over and over is it's ok to not be perfect. Hell, it's part of the reason Max's time travel was so huge to her, to fix the problems that she was too scared to solve the first time around. Some are more flawed than others, and some are completely irredeemable, but Chloe does not rank among the latter. Throughout the first game we can see how broken and angry she is, and yes, selfish. It's what makes it all the more meaningful when in the end she pleads for Max to let her commit the ultimate act of selflessness, but we're not talking about the first game. Chloe isn't just some punk who likes getting high and inconveniencing others. She's a girl who lost her dad much too early, and who's best friend wasn't there when she needed her the most. Part of Before the Storm is seeing just how self destructive and lost she was, if the first game didn't make that clear enough. Her relationship with Rachel was great for her all as much as it was bad for her, and both of them saved each other as well as enabled each other. They used each other to run away from their problems, and when Rachel disappeared, she was adrift with no way to stabilize herself. It's no wonder she makes mistakes, that she gets angry, or takes to much without realizing to give anything in return. She's hurting really bad, so when people talk about how unlikable she was, I can't help but realize if they even paid attention to her in any meaningful way at all other than an accessory to Max. If those same people played Before the Storm, I hesitate to say whether they would have even understood the point of the story, just the same as I would ask about if they understood the first. Chloe is so much more than just the person some people seem to think this is, and no better is it shown than in Before the Storm. Gosh, I love these two games. I walked out a different person and I will always love them. I could gush and rant about them all day. By the way, I love both menu themes for the games, and how different and contrasting they are. Chloe's is so much more melancholic, and the echo-y theme of the song feels like it reflects just how low and empty she probably felt. Have I mentioned how much I love these two games?

The creators of Life is Strange & Life is Strange "Before the Storm" are amazing! I've played some good games in my life, but never have I ever had such an attachment to a game. The storyline, dialogue, music and characters (even the Villians are good in their own way) are just on point! I'm so glad that they're making a "Life is Strange 2!"

its crazy... this song has more of a rebellious, nostalgic kind of vibe too it , which fits perfectly for chloe . and maxs is more calm , and has more of a peaceful/nostalgic vibe . each menu song relates too them in a way. 🤍

This song is so lovely. It fits the theme of the game so well. You can feel the heartbreak when you listen to it. I believe that Chloe and Rachel love each other. They support each other, help each other, and understand each other. They have that special bond and connection. But we all know they won't end up together in the end, which is devastating. And this song portrays that perfectly.

I don’t remember it’s exact name, so search for the album “Music From Before The Storm” and it should come up. It has a lot of the soundtrack there, the rest is in a playlist by the devs on Spotify.

Out of all the Life Is Strange games, Before The Storm is by far my favourite, when LIS 2 comes out in september I doubt it will EVER top this game. Me too and i feel so weird about how hard I ship Cloe and Max. Im not usually like that with fictional characters, or even real life people. But i seriously have been sitting here thinking about these games, characters, all of it for weeks now and wishing another game with them would be made. With a happy ending. Do the creators not hear us BEGGING for this after years? I think this still hits so many of us hard is because Chloe never really got a real happy ending. Even when you save her, whose to say what happens when Max and her leave arcadia along with the guilt? Just give us another game and happy ending with them, god.

Did you ever think about how similar LIS is to your life? It creates a feeling for me, i am missing something in my life. This theme is just…so nostalgic and optimistic. They did an absolutely amazing job with the OST in both games, and the music in each really sets the tone for the story. This theme pretty much cements in your mind the theme of “Spring 2010: Chloe knew happiness for a time with Rachel Amber.”
