Something I want to point out is that on the display images for the outfit packs, the one for the fan favorite is Max in Chloe’s outfit and that’s the only cover where Max is slightly smiling

This is a great game so far, even if it’s not the best. The graphics and gameplay is much more smooth. The story arcs are still interesting and who knows, hopefully maybe we will see Daniel return in the future for his own game.

@@Sparxxyy Random question, so I got the deluxe edition right. However i can’t find out how to wear fan favorite Chloe or the decades outfit. Maybe those options open for the full game idk. All the other final fantasy, spooky and cat outfits are there.

@@theelusiveman9706 Sadly, the deluxe edition does not include the fan-favorite outfit pack. But I'm sure the other outfit packs become accessible in the later chapters depending on what edition you purchased. It's likely you can purchase certain outfit packs separately if you want them without paying Ultimate edition prices.

@@Sparxxyy I meant to say ultimate my bad I got the most expensive out of the 3. I was hoping for dlc, but I’m ok with the cat content since I got a cat. I was hoping maybe Max would keep it around.

Just chiming in. The game takes place during the Christmas season. So, the undead Max outfit is only being released because the game is being released in October, specifically close to Halloween.

I also got the ultimate edition. One reason was to get more playing time with Life Is Strange Double Exposure before Dragon Age Veilguard is released October 31st, 2 days after the regular DE release. Another reason is that having a cute cat around is always fun.

I agree that the ultimate edition early access is very predatory. Now a lot of people will have to log off the internet to avoid spoilers...

@@nnoowwaayy It's episode 1-2 that has early access. We already know s lot about what will happen in these episodes. The devs have posted several videos. Baldur's Gate 3 had chapter 1 early access for several years. That didn't ruin the fun for all of those who purchased the game after release date. Even with no early access you have sprint runners who finish a new game in just days. They post walk-throughs for the entire game while most players are still in chapter 1. Dragon Age Veilguard have seen many spoiler videos posted by devs or reviewers. It doesn't seem that this will ruin the fun because you have only seen a small percentage of the game. If you really don't want to be spoiled you just don't watch KZbin videos, read reviews etc. about the game until you're way into the game yourself. It's more important to discuss whether offering early access to earn more money is bad or not. My opinion to that is that I don't mind as long as the base game offers the full game experience. If so want to pay for playing early then let them. They're ones having to deal with most bugs so the others get hot fixes prior to release. Of course, it's not fun seeing others enjoying a great game while you have to wait. I live in Europe and remember in the old days prior to internet where USA got new games weeks or months before Europe.

I went with the physical version to get that steel book case. I really don’t like the two weeks early access, if it wasn’t for that i likely would have pre-ordered the ultimate edition, like i did for True Colours, but i don’t want to support that two weeks early access thing. I wonder if they’re going to have the cat content and additional outfits as separate purchases after the games out, like they did in before the Storm with the deluxe upgrade, the Classic Chloe outfit, and Farewell episode. True Colours too with the Deluxe upgrade, Alex outfit pack, and the Wavelengths DLC.

Hello :) As someone who pre-ordered the Ultimate edition because of massive FOMO, I’m still not happy how the decisions were handled … they were obviously designed in a way to make fans buy the Ultimate Edition, but man, I really wish the two weeks early access either wouldn’t exist or only be two days or something :-/ And even that would’ve been a controversial decision, I bet. I also wish the cat content would’ve been in the main game, but honestly, I’m surprisingly excited for it? It could be a very cool sidequest, I think. Too bad it’s not Safi’s cat, because that’s an amazing idea! But it could still belong to an important character, so who knows … Except for the Chloe outfit, I really like the fan favorite pack! Even the Chloe one could be seen as a strange way to honor her, I guess? Still, I really hope there’s a way to keep Max’s original hair color … I love your idea about the Spooky outfit being limited to a single chapter! While the game takes place around Christmas, there could still be a certain context where it’s somehow appropriate … at least I really hope so >.< Because seriously, just imagine Max could’ve worn it during the original game during intense scenes like Kate’s suicide attempt or Chloe’s euthanasia scene! But hey, don’t judge a game before it’s released. While the marketing is certainly controversial, I don’t want to judge the game because of it :) Thank you for covering the latest news!

Easy to avoid spoilers, and you don't even need to avoid any LiS places to do so, having two episodes early is freaking awesome, not even close to being a bad thing.

If you keep up with everything Life is Strange on social media’s such as Twitter within a community, I can imagine it’ll be very difficult to avoid spoilers. There is a always a small group of people that love to spoil things for everyone

Not really that easy, you could just be scrolling social media and come across a spoiler or screenshots of important things. It’s not awesome, and yes it is a bad thing. That two week early access bs is the only reason i didn’t buy the ultimate edition, if that wasn’t there, then i would have pre-ordered that edition, like i did for True Colours, but i’m not supporting that. I’ll stick with my physical version/steel book, and the collectors box
