Kate does have a higher chance of living compared to other characters in the game, considering she was in the hosptial, and her parent had plan to pick her away for the hospital. While those in the dinners are basically fucked.

Yeah, I agree. You can only truly learn the lesson in the ending where you sacrifice chloe. You shouldn't make everyone else suffer for something that YOU caused. No matter how much you love someone.. It's not fair to take other people away from THEIR loved ones for that. After getting to know all the other characters in the game, coming to like them, coming to be friends with them, would you really sacrifice that all for something that just wasn't meant to be? Chloe said it best when she told you to sacrifice her.. It's just, in this game, there was no GOOD ending. You lose somebody in either ending, but at least you'll have the bittersweet feeling of having done the right thing by sacrificing Chloe. Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be. Her fate was to die early on, and that's a force that shouldn't be messed with. Anyway, that's how I took the ending, I couldn't stop crying when it happened!!! 😭

Sacrafice chloe isnt the true ending, max would never do that, there are lines in the game files who say, i would do anything just to wake up next to you, oh i love you chloe and more, max even said herself that she wont do that, that was her imidiatly reaction, the Love thouse 2 have for eachother is stronger than a storm, it makes no sence for max to kill chloe - "the love of her life" as hannah telle said (maxs actor) over a couple of people who doesnt care about her at all, and even if max had better Friends in arcadia she wouldnt do that, because like max said, chloe is all that matters for her

did you realize syd matters song made it a beautiful ending just as the first episode, as if this is the real real ending that was suppose to happen, among other alternative timelines, knowing what happen to rachel, who the bad guy is, besides the fact that max had a month and half to meet up with chloe after 5 years, she wouldve had amazing confidence just like that, step out meet chloe again surprisely and stop nathan, karate his ass, snap a photo, as in way like it was meant to be, right, but its hard to say, but like syd matters says "obstacles". Max would be so confidence like "There are laws of nature and once they take control you have to accept them.”

My first ending. I thought it was going to turn out that the tornado, Max's rewind power, and all the other crazy shit was a dream she was having while under sedation from Jefferson's drugs. Of course I was going to save Chloe. I will always consider this ending to be canon, especially after playing Before The Storm.
