Fulton John Sheen, was born May 8, 1895 in Illinois and was ordained a priest of the diocese of Peoria in Peoria, IL on September 20, 1919. In 1930, after just eleven years of priesthood, Sheen began hosting a weekly Sunday night radio broadcast called The Catholic Hour. This broadcast captured many devoted listeners, reportedly drawing an audience of four million people every week for two decades. In 1951, Sheen was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdioceses of New York, the same year he started Life is Worth Living. Life is Worth Living ran until 1957. Bishop Sheen hosted another television series, The Fulton Sheen Program, running from 1961 to 1968 that closely modeled the Life is Worth Living series.
In 1979 Fulton J. Sheen received his greatest accolade when Pope John Paul II embraced him and said, "You have written and spoken well of the Lord Jesus. You are a loyal son of the Church." With that last acknowledgement, Fulton Sheen passed into eternal life just two months later on December 9, 1979.
Bishop Fulton Sheen was scheduled for beatification (the process of becoming a saint in the Catholic Church) on December 21, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Peoria. On December 3, 2019, the Diocese of Peoria announced that the beatification of Sheen would be delayed.

Love these quotes 🙏🏾🙏🏻 “The nobler the object that is loved, the better we become” When we love God, we go out to meet God’s expectations “The least knowledge of God, is worth more than the knowledge of all created things” “The level of any civilisation is the level of its Womanhood” +Fulton Sheen Words of extraordinary wisdom about Love by Blessed Archbishop Fulton Sheen Love of God elevates our ability to love others, elevates our moral standards of what & how to love, guides us to become mirrors of Love itself. We gain wisdom in how to imitate Christ God is Love. Through true Love, we become God’s Children. This fallen world increasingly thwarts & distorts what love is. It brings down the standards of morality for selfish & immoral gains. The notion of the modern term “Equality” sets out to distort all notions of true God inspired Love Humanity, led by satan has sown a deceptive, self centred notion of love, a notion engrained within a fallen humanity living far from God & His eternal virtuous law God is the same Yesterday, Today & Forever. His definition of love, how to love, what to love never changes. It is through true Love, humanity can elevate itself up from the current grip of satan & he’s henchmen. So many have been deceived. What was morally once seen as good is now evil, what was once considered evil is now seen as good. The distortion of love within humanities heart, a blindness to the true source of Love from which all love comes from which is God, has been created by satan so that humanity drifts far away from His ways. The deception St Paul spoke of in 2 Thessalonians 2 had truly set in. The world has been consecrated to satan, hence why now all Marian prophecy will unfold, because events now unfold to ultimately separate the wheat from the chaff, to ultimately bring back to God’s way all Children of God who hear His voice. A great separation has began. Pray for your loved ones. Pray for The Warning, when God will offer His final act of Divine Mercy to all humanity. Repent, make reparation. Pray. Love God’s ways. When we love God, we go out to meet the infinite When we become selfish, we bring things down to our fallen level, full of deceptive compromises that burden our eternal souls with sin Our souls then become spiritually blinded & finite. We loose sight of God & His eternal reward, which is heaven. Eternal life.

This is what we called: "THE TONGUE OF THE SPIRIT". He is a model of Catholic intellectuals (says A. G. Sertillanges), but in some extent, more interesting. "They have the gift of expressing the word of wisdom through the Spirit (1 Chorinthians, 12:4)

Yes he first started to write about the dangers of Modernism in 1930, which we see in full swing today achieving its objectives…

He had the same level of talent Victor Borge had. He was also silent generation as Bishop Sheen. Is it me or aren't there any people left who can speak clearly and keep the attention of an audience?

I hear Bishop Barron talk about how sin is like a black hole, always pulling everything around it into itself and not able to reflect light because light cannot escape it. The love of Jesus Christ however is the cross because it goes out in all directions: up to the righteous and good, down to the ones riddled with sin and bad, and left and right to the ones who are merely in the world, living for the day and not really anything else. It was his sacrifice that saved us from the sin of Adam, for without sacrifice from the perfect man we wouldn't be able to be redeemed because each one of us would have to pay for their own sins. I don't know if we are saved by faith alone or by faith and works, whether the one true church is roman catholic or eastern orthodox, if we have free will and we are saved by choosing God or if we are pre-ordaned to either live forever or suffer in hell. What I do know, however, is it was Jesus Christ on the Cross that saved me and by growing in relationship to him, I am able to understand why love is good and what good even is. I have fear because I feel lukewarm, on the fence, not committing fully to a dogma. But I know that Jesus is God and God is the supreme good, the supreme truth, the supreme love that we show to one another when we forgive eachother for offences. I didn't talk to my dad for a year because I grew up in a broken home and only saw the faults in him because I only thought of myself. For the longest time I was fully like that black hole but I forgave him and now we are beginning, slowly, to rekindle a relationship. I pray for forgiveness, mercy and understanding everyday and try to implement those ideals in my life even though I do it in small ways and not to the best of my abilities out of fear. I pray for you, whoever is reading, so that you may find it in your heart to break that circle of thinking of self so that you may look up, to God, and learn to love as he loves you: selflessly and sacrificially. When we sacrifice and die to ourselves, the world, we are reborn in selflessness, in Jesus Christ.

The love of God transforms you slowly over time. For some people, it can transform them in an instant. I find, it's very easy to love Christ. It's very hard to be a good person. But you have to start somewhere.

It's called a souffleur. In theatre or at any live event with an audience there was 1 guy reading the script simultaneous with the performer and he sits under the stage with a small opening towards the performer in case the performer has a black out. Later on came talk back function via the stage monitors and since the 21th century, In-ear monitoring is used.
