My husband and I bought our first home recently, it has to be renovated, basically gutted. We’re at this pivotal cabinetry moment and really trying to find something reasonably priced that’s still quality and modern. Just having heart defects in your family raises that chance. The technology is so much better than it was when I was an infant w CHDs it's honestly so amazing. Now if you've had heart problems or defects chances go from 1 in every hundred to 1 in every 40. Seeing and doing those scans tho is so cool. So glad all is well so far such a blessing!!!

I have been taking baby aspirin my whole pregnancy (currently 35 weeks) to prevent blood clots and lower the risk of pre-e! I have genetic hypertension now so they are delivering me at 37 weeks but that's different with every doctor. I know it sounds scary but I honestly loved being high risk because it meant more ultrasounds and getting to check in on baby girl more. We've done like 18 or 19 ultrasounds and most people only get to see their baby 3 times their entire pregnancy so we feel very lucky in that aspect. Wishing you nothing but the best for the rest of your pregnancy!!

I was on aspirin my entire pregnancy to prevent pre clampsia. All was great until they took me off it at 36 weeks....my BP spiked and I went on metildopa with weekly monitoring for pre clampsia. Again all was OK until 40 weeks and 3 days when urine test showed proteins,...hence pre clampsia...so I had to have a c section the following morning 😮 as was safest for me and baby 👶🏼
