Thank you sir, I really enjoyed this and found it uplifting. May I Impose and tell a story ( true one:). During WW11 my dad was in the RAAAF. He was stationed in Australia. My dad never had much time for organised religion but in the Forces during the war, attending Sunday services was just about compulsory. Dad didn’t want to so he said he was Jewish ( rabbis weren’t exactly thick on the ground). One day his commanding officer called my dad in and he was so excited. He told my dad that they’d found a rabbi and he was pleased to visit once a month. Well, the officer was so thrilled with what he’d done and my dad thought “ I’m screwed). Came the day the following week and dad, shaking in his boots , went to the tent. Took a few minutes and rhe Rabbi said “ you’re not Jewish lad, why?” Dad explained and the old guy said “ you play cards”. And they did, every month for the next 18 months. I remember going to the rabbis home for dinner occasionally. I played with a boy around 9 I think ( poor boy was told to I guess) and I remember going to sleep behind a green lounge. I remember going to a synagogue 🕍, a wedding I think. For some reason I think it was blue. What I remember most was being told rhat I said “ but why can’t I sit with my dad ( I was a daddy’s girl). It’s a treasured family memory and I hope you like it. Thank you sir. 🙏🙏🙏👵🇦🇺

Hard to listen to a rab when the first thing he says is racist... Shame

@@sarahfisherfinley6063The reference is to the joke about Harry and Meagan. He thinks if you say anything contrary about a person of color, the statement is racist.

The statement wasn't racist. It was a joke predicated on reality. The reality being the difficulty within the royal family. If you don't have in laws, you may fail to understand the dynamic. If your experience limits your life view, you might only be able to see one possibly at work, and believe it to be racism. Try to believe better of people, as you would have them do of you. Try to have more diverse relationships so you can understand where others are coming from. Then if you call something racist, call out the error and give your statement some weight. But the mere use of Meagan's name does not make a statement rasict.
