I think there should be some way, that people like Shumer, can be sorted out. Some way of getting rid of his antics. He should be in prison for threatening SCOTUS, in public on the steps of SCOTUS. Why wasn't he charged. Such public comment can't be exc used by congressional privilege. In fact many such things happen by members of Congress, but never face justice. What about Harris, bailing out criminals arrested during the 'burning cities' returning them to the scene of the crimes and telling them to do more. Why isn't anything done about that?

SCOTUS can take any case they want at any time they want as long as it involves constitutional issues of public interest. SCOTUS has the Judicial Power of the United States 🇺🇸. They don't need to wait for ANY APPEAL PROCESS to be completed in order to review the constitutional issues involved. SCOTUS can, and should, take this case immediately and shred it into confetti.
