I like that question of imagine you haven't done the thing for short term because if you're able to imagine that then it can help you to identify things that on some level you already know are going to be in your way so you can do some preventative work (ideally) to deal with it

I’ve been using a digital version of the weekly since it came out. Year 1 I answered all the prompts as well as the worksheet series she did regarding values and whatnot. Years two and three I worked through the first 30 or so pages of prompts, and found that was enough after having gone whole hog previously. I will say that I accomplished a lot with this system year 1, and less with year two due to Pandemic Blahs. We’ll see how this year goes.

Hi Cindy! 😊 I really appreciate your thorough review all the way down to what kind of pen to use! I just recently began watching MuchelleB's videos and am a wee bit obsessed with her aesthetic. Despite the fact the planners don't lie flat, they're just so very, very pretty! I love those earthy tones. I ordered The Life Map Daily planner before I saw your review. I've never used a goal setting planner before and am a little intimidated 'cause I'm not sure what my main goal should be. I kinda wish I'd gotten the weekly planner instead just so I had a few more prompts to figure out my goals. Maybe the audio that came with the planner will provide more guidance. I'm rambling. I just wanted to thank you for taking the time to review these planners and for giving your honest opinions about them. I'm very grateful for you! 😊

Thanks for the review, Cindy. This system, especially the yearly, may be very useful for someone who is just starting out on goal-setting. The way it's organised and the prompts make it easy for someone who hasn't done much (any) goal-setting to get started on what may otherwise be an overwhelming task.

The goal section seems overwhelming and not especially helpful for me. At your recommendation, I tried the HB90 system. Ever since I plotted my objectives against my available time for the quarter, goal setting without actual scheduling just feels like faffing around.

Home is where the goal planner lives. :) that weekly seems more guided than power sheets, which I prefer bc PS seems to be too vague for me to pinpoint what my vision is. I think I like the year version better bc I have my own planner and this is private, not to be shared. Just my thoughts. Also - shipping to Canada $31. Cost for planner $50 CAN. $81 plus taxes and duty.

This video would make a great drinking gameI Take a shot every time "thirteen" is said! instant alcohol poisoning! and I was actually thinking as you went through the yearly planner, how awesome it would be to be just the goal stuff. and magically it was! I really liked this goal planner and feel it would be a great thing for me to try as Ive been researching goal planners and this one I really like, as the PowerSheets felt like just habit tracking mostly and Makeselife was a planner planner too and I don't need that part. Too bad its $40 for a book bound with potentially quality control issues, of that ink splatter and too short ribbons. The cream paper feel a bit difficult to read but could be just the video. very tempting though. Thank you for this review! and Home is where the shit i own is!

@@plannerheaux exactly. it is rather frustrating, especially since the planner community down here is so small, and is so difficult to get items down here, costs a fortune with exchange rate, and have zero easy access to popular planner brands, so you would think an Aussie would make Aussie products more acceptable and affordable for us.

Aesthetics wise these please me; as an Aussie, these greatly disappoint. $49AUD for shipping, for a product made by an Aussie shipping to an Aussie customer? That's a hard nope. Also I'm not a fan of the layout, for me there doesn't seem to be a smooth flow through the planners; I like to have layout flow like: [ Year ] / [ Month / Week / Day ] / End so that each month has it's own space with it's own weeks & days in it, rather than Year / Month / Weeks / Days; then having to keep flipping back to find your relevant dates. Example: If you're in May 10th, you shouldn't have to flip all the way back to the start of the planner for the details for the week & month layout. If I get to May in my planner I would want to see May / Weeks in May / Days in May / June etc. In saying that though; I see this is in digital form. I could look at my own solution if I wanted to support another Aussie. Do I need a 3rd planner though???
@tarns172 жыл бұрын
As an Aussie too, I feel the same way re shipping of an Aussie product, to me as an Aussie. Of course I dont know her reasons why these ship from outside Australia, they may very well be valid reasons (if its cost-cutting for her, on her end, thats her choice - but, the higher cost is then put to the Australian buyer who has to fork out a huge amount, for postage - which is not fair on us, even if we do want to support a fellow Aussie. Not a criticism, as I said she may well have her reasons, but for me its a no, as well.
@ladytimeoin2 жыл бұрын
I ended up with $61AUD for a daily planner shipped to SEQ. I paid less for a daily planner itself, shipped from Aus, so it's a no for me. I had a look around and it seems they want to have an Aussie warehouse in the future

I think I would have enjoyed this 18-25yo. After 30, kids, etc.. it doesn't really seem functional for me personally. Obviously you don't stop having goals by age, but I think you can hyper focus on them when you're younger. Or if you're just starting out with goal keeping / making a significant change in your life that is drastic it may be helpful. This is too much for my life! lol.
