Life of a Dog after PARVOVIRUS!
PARVOVIRUS... A very deadly disease in Dogs, and is highly communicable. Although Vaccinations are available as prevention for this, if there is Vaccination failure and by bad luck, some Dog gets infected with it, there are very rare chances of survival. It hampers the digestive system very badly, thus leads to acute diarrhea and vomiting. An infected dog may pass blood in stools, which is generally very stinky.

I rescued a beautiful black puppy when she was 7 weeks old. Day 2 at home was when she gave up water and food. Having lost 2 pups to parvo, I feared i might lose her but our vet was very proactive and he put her on drip that very evening (day 2). She laid still for 3 days but 4th day onwards, she started getting active and played with the vets as well! She's sleeping beside me right now, completely recovered and very happy and tired from all the playing! To all the pet parents who's suffering, 1) don't feed your pup anything ( food or water) 2) get to a vet 3) be patient and love your companion with all you have :)

2 years ago I lost 2 Doberman pups to Parvo. My pups were properly hospitalized for 2 weeks but they didn't survive. We have been keeping dogs since generations but this was the first time that it happened to us. Entirely family was sad. Couple of months later we got another pup and he too got Parvo. He survived this time. But yes, his growth is nowhere as compared to his parents. He is 2 years old doberman who looke like 8 months old. He also has a very bad temperament. Hates outsiders and is generally grumpy all the time. The only 3 people he is completely loving and normal to is my father and us 2 brothers. This video and the other one about Parvo is very very helpful. Please keep your pup vaccinated on time and save them from Parvo at all costs!

My dog was 5 months old when he got parvo virus he is a golden retriever I still remember those heartbeats I felt when I caught him tight to my heart crying of the fact that I might loose him but our fate was changed and after 1 month he finally recovered now he is all Fit and awesome and thank you Sir love your channel passion and the motivation you give us I have adopted 7 stray dogs in the last few years which were strayed all alone and were left for dead and thanks again Sir!!

Thanks for this knowledgeable video, I lost my Labrador retriever in 2012 due to Parvovirus, I still miss my Darling Charlie (Labrador). He was just 4 years old. My Puppy was 45 Days old when was diagnosed with Parvo. Being a fighter, he overcame the virus but the recovery is slow. he has lost his appetite and is unable to digest . my doctor has advised Some multi vitamin. we have not started giving him normal food since the vet advised to give him Cerelac & Vat pro . Should we start giving him normal food or what all should we give him to eat.
