The VHS player and cassettes reminds me when I was a kid when my dad had his VHS movie collection. He would buy movies for me to watch. I watched the movie The Parent Trap so many times I lost count. This brings back memories.

That retro pension is so cute. I love all Cleo Bowls dog carriers and car seats. Do you see any difference in S. Korea in how they view dogs or is it the same? I remember you telling me one lady did everything to avoid Cleo as it was a big pit bull.

Even though ive only been here about 5 years in that short time i feel like ive seen soooo many more dog owners over the years!! I think less people are having kids here and more people are opting to be pet parents instead. So i think people are becoming much more open minded and welcoming to pets! But overall you do see SO many smaller dogs here compared to large dogs.

5:00 those bowls would be nice for Rudi. He is so fussy sometimes and since he is a big sniffer when we are on walks he could eat his food with hidden snacks :p Although we have a double bowls where on one side he has his wet food and in other dry food. He usually get snacks after walks or if he was good while bathing him. He's 3 years old soon so still a baby but teenager I feel like in dog years :P

I’d like to know how Cleo got to South Korea, with you or someone else. In the plane or in cargo hold? My dog gets crazy zoomies after baths. I found a hairdryer that has a medium heat setting that is perfect for him.

I happened to see one of your older videos and from that it sounds like you've been living in Korea for five or six years now. The video was about things you found inconvenient or odd about living in Korea and I'm wondering what you think now versus then. I lived in Korea a long time ago - Camp Casey at Dongducheon from 89 to 90, then Seoul from 90 to 94 and a lot has changed there as I discovered on a few recent trips with my kids.

you gotta try it with something that has good flavor to balance it out!! Like maybe some marinated meat or kimchi :)

@@adriennehilll I love kimchi 🥰 I will give it a try that way. I know seaweed is good for you that's part of why I tried it so many times 😂 I'm trying to make healthier choices for foods but I'm still kinda lost in the dark when it comes to what is actually good food wise 😮💨

Can you please share more if for example restaurants are dog friendly? I know in US most are not :) It's great news that you can take your pup on train! Did you see maybe people travelling with medium size dogs? Were they in a doggy carrier then?
@denarainosek10014 ай бұрын
Is the vaccination requirement the same there as in the States? Do you have to pay a pet deposit fee every time you move?
@stephanieveenendaal4 ай бұрын
Were there any huge differences you noticed between having a dog in Korea vs the US or was it a pretty smooth transition? Also I’ve heard that people in Korea like small dogs a lot more and big dogs are less common/less liked, would you say that’s true in your experience?
@adriennehilll4 ай бұрын
Biggest difference is that there are sooo many more small dogs here compared to large dogs like collies, German Shepards, pit bulls etc. I think this has a lot to do with apartment living here. It can be hard to have a big dog in a small apartment ofc, and its also less comfortable to walk a big dog in the city for some people i think!
@kaylagarner52944 ай бұрын
Did it cost a lot of money to fly Cleo from the states to Korea? I have two big dogs (~60 lbs each) and I’m trying to figure out how I can get them over without paying $20k 😀

Not expensive since she is a small dog. Large dogs can definitely be pricey i have heard
