🌴☀️ I ran into a problem getting setup for gig work after you made a video about this like a year or so ago, so I went to school and got my CDL A but ohh 😮 my gaswh 😔 sis what a slippery industry. Long story short all went well but I haven’t begun ACTUALLY driving as yet, graduated in summer 2023. Feeling deflated, lots of stumbling blocks as a female “applicant”. Tbh, I’ve given up just so tired after nearly 6 yrs vanlife, but one day we will chat. ‘This great that your keeping that company on the books, whenever the creator is about to open another door, here comes some terds 💩 trying to block the blessings…SURPRISE…Mo is covered on all sides! No weapon formed against you shall prosper, To be honest I’m struggling in my faith to stay strong in this but I believe it all the way 🎊so proud of your faith & outlook🎊 Peace be with, in and all around you, and may God continue to make your enemy be your footstool☀️🌴

I can understand how frustrating it can be to deal with coworkers gossiping and spreading false information. That's why I decided to leave the hospital and become a traveling nurse. It's been less stressful not having to deal with people's immature behavior, and I have greater peace of mind. I'm grateful that the young man stood up for you. I enjoyed this video; it was straightforward and showed the realities of van life. It's great that you can make money while on the road.

I never knew about traveling nurses until my daughter's diagnosis at 5. I was fortunate to be able to stay w her during infusions during the summer months (I worked in the same school district so got all the same time breaks off). But I wondered when I'd go down to the parking garage to replenish my cooler and I'd see a few out of state plates on vans and I could tell people were sleeping in them. Not all states have a Ronald McDonald house for families to stay in and not all people would want to. I wonder if some of the nurses dwelled in their vans as well to cut the cost of the hotels. Thank you for your choice!

Monique 👋, “People only matter, if YOU allow them to matter.” I absolutely love that saying because it’s so true. As I get older, I’ve learned to really start tuning people out a lot more. I no longer allow negativity to steal my energy. Some people just don’t like to see others happy or in a good mood so they’ll do everything they can to shift that. Things will remain the same until YOU change them. Thanks for dropping this video, I really enjoyed it. Be safe out there and I look forward to watching you on your next journey. 🖤

👋🏾❤️ As time passes, I begin to see the wisdom in the simple sayings I grew up hearing from my elders, such as "misery loves company". Sometimes, it's as simple as that; nothing more, nothing less. Miserable people want others to be miserable. It's sad, but like you, I'm no longer allowing that negativity to steal my energy. What a freeing feeling!! You be safe, as well.

But the energy is toxic. I’m going to start living in my car March 3rd and I’m so excited to hit the road. I’m not going to be going gig work but I’m a nurses aide and will travel with a few apps ❤ Much love and gratitude for you ❤

I loved Your reply to the guy at Your job. " I'm a Woman who chooses to cover Her body" It use to be like that. Women in Our community dressed very conservatively. I'm 73 years old. I remember the first sister with a mini dress. Boy did the old folks have something to talk about. I think I was 11th grade and She was 9th. Be Well Mack 13:44

Hi! I'm almost caught up🎉 The video started with me hearing the clicks. Why did I keep looking for the 'skip ad' button wanting to get to the video??😂 Then I looked at the phone to see it was part of the video! Starting over now🤣 I'm still learning 😊 Re: the 'witch' comment, ignorance and stupidity are completely different. Ignorance is when ppl find out the facts and choose to enlighten themselves; whereas stupidity is where even when facts are proven but atill choose to believe the misinformation. I have worked with two people that are wiccan at my elementary school. It's very interesting when you find out and you actually sit down and talk to people as opposed to just letting the mind go crazy. I think a lot of it also comes from this day and age where people are used to putting all of their own personal business out on blast and when someone comes along that is not hanging all out, chooses to be respectful even in the silence, they take it that they have to create some drama. ~Fools gonna be fools

And anyone who appears to stand apart from the herd is usually the first target. I would like to contribute something to your channel with the "Thanks" link, but I don't see it enabled. I find what you do fascinating and cool. I love the way you figured out how your time works and ways to apply them. I love the way you approached the problem of the "poop stirrers" and the way your coworkers came to your aid and corrected the curious young man. You have two important things here, all coming from the Universal Spirit. You found 2 allies in your co-workers & possibly a 3rd in the one who wanted to know from you who you were, and the two who in a since knew the essence of you. That scene was Awesome❣ I'm Proud of you young Sister for navigating and living your life on your terms. Creating your own narrative❣ Namaste🙏🌹

Well if I *was* a witch, I'd be proud of it. I mean, I picked it for my own reasons, right? Thanks for the video. I liked your expression hibernate and grind phases, and of seeking peace of mind. I get a lot of rejuvenating peace of mind by going out west. :) It was a goal of mine when I bought my minivan, and now it's an ongoing goal -- I go to the RTR every year, and often take a summer trip out west too. Interesting, just yesterday a erratic guy screaming about witches through the train. I was afraid he would attack someone. I COMPLETELY resonate your experience with negative and hateful culture. It seem that good spirits will have an issue (especially people of color). Whatever we do positively and passionately, although others of different cultures do the same, we are under some type of racist scrutiny. I mean just minding your business can be an issue for some. Freak the unrestful, get that money and continue to live in peace. You are so exciting to watch from this stance. Your videos have a way that gives the viewer different angle.

Hello. I consider anyone who stands with the genocide Israel is currently putting the Palestinians through as a “trash person”. Standing with current Israel is equivalent to standing with genocide and that makes them trash, to me.

Monique i have been following u for a while and always enjoyed ur calm videos about food, travel and ur life. SIGH on this one! How can u complain that people are badmouthing u for being a Muslim and then in the same video call a whole group of people "trash?" That actually makes no sense. U don't even have ur facts straight but then I'm not surprised as half the young people in this country do not. U might want to listen to Imam Mohammad Tawhidi. . @@simmpleenough

I appreciate you sharing how you feel. I see Imam Tawhidi constantly calling all members of hamas a terrorist, which I agree with. I see him criticizing them MUCH more than the Israeli terrorists. I see he has an agenda, as does most everyone, and I don’t support his agenda. Is there any difference in him constantly calling hamas terrorists and me calling people who support genocide ‘trash’? People calling me a witch out of ignorance is not the same as me calling a person trash if they openly support Israel at this current moment. If I wore a shirt that said “witch” or put a sign in my yard that alluded to me supporting witches, I would understand someone assuming I’m a witch or that I support whatever it is that witches are currently doing. A person putting that sign in their yard during this war knows what message they’re sending. To tell me I don’t have my facts straight makes no sense. Are you in Israel or Palestine at this very moment? If not, then how do you know what the facts are? You don’t. All any of us know is what the media tells us. We watch media and we pick a side. That’s it. I’ve picked my side. I have no issue with Jewish people or Israelis who condemn what is being done to Gaza, but I’m not okay with people openly supporting Zionist terrorists. No one should put a sign like that in their yard during the current climate. I’m open to changing my perspective, but telling me to listen to that guy will not do it. I stand by what I said, and I’m okay with your feelings about me changing.

Also, it’s not the Israeli flag I had an issue with. It’s not Israel as a whole I’m calling trash. You can see I zoomed in on the sign that said “We support Israel” or whatever it said. It’s the sign that is my issue. That sign currently has a sinister meaning and anyone who puts it up knows the sinister meaning behind it, in my opinion. That’s not okay, to me.

@@simmpleenough I can surely accept anyone stating that this is a complicated situation and wanting all the violence to stop. But when u use a word such a Genocide u seem to be overlooking the fact that Oct 7 was a massacre where women and children were raped and mutilated, babies were killed and people were kidnapped. Imagine being an Israeli young person just going to a music festival and suddenly u have to run for ur life, all while seeing ur friends getting killed? 1400 people were killed that day. And other people were killed in their homes. The sexual violence against women was horrible. Please research that if u can. The problem is that Hamas wants Israelis and Jews not to exist at all and any time they have been offered a state they have rejected the offer. They do not want to live in peace with Israel at all. They want to wipe the state out and have literally stated that they will continue doing attacks like the one on October 7. So what should Israel, as a country, do with this information? Nothing? At least they warn the Palestinian people of incoming attacks and try to get them to move out of the war zone. No other country does this. And for years Israelis have treated Palestinians in Israeli hospitals. Also perhaps ask urself why countries like Egypt has not opened their doors to the Palestinians?? Or why other Muslim countries do not take them in? Israel is a tiny little country as opposed to the larger Arab and Muslim countries. The sad truth is that Palestinians are raised to hate all.Jews and Israelis--it is taught in their schools-- whereas Israelis are not taught that kind of hatred. And in Israel one is free to be Jewish, Muslim or Christian. This is not the case in Gaza. If Hamas hadn't started this war, NONE of this would be happening. There has actually been no Israeli presence in Gaza for many years. In my opinion the Palestinians are being used as pawns by Iran backed Hamas to further the Iran agenda. To answer ur question I do have friends in Israel although I am.not there myself..i am American. And I watch a broad range of media. I just feel before u label a whole group as "trash" u might consider there are 2.sides to every conflict. And perhaps that person with the sign has lost a family member in the war. None of these hostilities will ever end if we all go on labelling and hating one another. Be well.

@simmpleenough 11 ай бұрын
Ummm, I'd say 50/50. I've felt pretty safe the last few years, but recently it seems like islamophobia is back on the rise. Or maybe it has always been on the rise and I've been living under a rock since I rarely watch the news. I just learned of a man ending the life of a 6 year old boy because he was muslim. He tried to do the same to the child's mother, but she survived. I've been hearing of some other recent sad news stories regarding the killing of muslims in the U.S. and it makes me nervous and more cautious of my surroundings, but at the moment I have no desire to stop wearing hijab.

Your remark about people with signs in their yards was unsolicited, tasteless, and bigoted. You've no idea their personal views on the conflict in Gaza. You didn't knock theirs door and speak to them. Many citizens stand with their nation but dont stand behind every national policy.

I've liked your videos. I am interested in van life. Your videos are very informative. I did not like your comment on trash people. There are no trash people. You might want to look more closely at the history of this region before making negative remarks. The only way to stop conflict is for people to coexist and accept one another. You don't have to agree with them. I don't agree with Muslim beliefs but I would never dream of calling Muslims trash people. I know you don't agree with Israel but that does not make them trash people. Apart from that I have enjoyed your video's and find your life style interesting.

I never said all Israelis are trash. I agree with everything you said. I do. I just feel very frustrated and helpless with what’s happening to the Palestinians. I know there are people who believe the Israelis have it just as bad as the Palestinians, but my perspective is different. I feel so bad for Palestinians right now. That sign those people had in their yard triggers my lower self and caused me to voice my frustration. Trash was a harsh word, but I don’t vibe with anyone who puts that sign up. Out of everyone who told me their disapproval of what I said, your comment is the only one that spoke to me. Thanks for sharing your perspective.

@@simmpleenough I am happy you were not offended. I truly do like your video's. I understand that you sympathize with the Palestinians. I do to. I also sympathize with the Israelis. When I look at peoples issues from their perspective I always find that there is something I agree with and something I disagree with. I am famous for saying (within my group of associates) "there are 8 billion people in the world. Were never going to agree with everyone.. The best we can do is respect other people's opinions and move on"

Kudos to the guy for being bold enough to ask questions and gain knowledge. And ICK!!!! to how creepy people are to you as a Muslim woman...not shocked, just tired. And the way people are to you in parking lots!! 👀👀🫸🏾 Dont do me no favors... when you swe someone obviously in their car loading, DON'T WALK UP BEHIND THEM, maybe speak first. ANNOUNCE YO SELF, he didnt say, "excuse me, are you done with this cart, i can take for you, im on my way in"...what video game does that guy think life is for him to use those words 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 I love working for myself, but traveling affects the clients until i set up more online course work or something digital so i can be location free. Or if I'm there long enough to build community/report. This was a realistic and very appreciated video. Thank you for your insight! That pep talk at the end. That declaration! Yebo sawubona, sis ❤️ I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the behavior of the parking lot guy was strange. I felt the same as you; why on earth would you just stand behind someone and quietly watch them load bags in their car without making yourself known?? It creeped me out. I'm happy my little pep talk spoke to you 😊. Lately, my body has been tingling with excitement from everything I feel is coming my way. I feel like I already have it all.
