You got really lucky after Aserai were destroyed, in my experience when you destroy an empire all the cities go to a random close kingdom, so you had a 1/3 chance to get the Aserai territories (Game could have given territories to you, Western Empire or Southern Empire) But in any case you deserve the win, I hope the Spartans throw a wild party after assuming control of the Aserai territories

next time do a life as a mercenary Viking. use sea raiders and use mods to change the sturgian troop tree so the noble units are infantry. challenge: only infantry. no archers or anything.

That’s just because they only have recruits left. At the beginning when they were at full strength the veteran infantry and the archers took out a lot of my men

Only in shield wall, they are fast and do a lot of damage with their spears but they have to be in shield wall to use them and against infantry alone they don’t do as well as they should. Still op against cav tho
