1. Great research. 2. I like that you pronounce Grindelwald's name correctly. 3. Dumbeldore was a Transfiguration teacher never a DADA teacher, and there was no McGonagall during Newts time, those movie got it wrong. 4. Weasley's were never part of 1st wizarding war. PS: There has never been anyone like Dumbeldore and will never be. Most powerful and wise of all wizards.

Thank u so much. Dumbledore was DADA teacher and later transfiguration teacher. He was not the first teacher to change subject (Snape -potions to DADA) professor marrythought started teaching DADA after Dumbledore and she continued that for 50 years approx. Even professor Dumbledore's room was still more of a DADA room then transfiguration room. 4. Yeah the McGonagall part is contradictory but if u had notices it is never mentioned that McGonagall in fantastic beast is 'minerva' so it's quite possible that McGonagall in fantastic beast is relative of Minerva. We can't say anything about right or wrong in fantastic beast as there are 3 parts yet to come. 5.yeah Weasley were not the part of first wizarding war though brothers of Molly were there who got killed later.

Minerva McGonagall was a half blood, her mother was Ross(i don't remember her name) and father was a muggle Robert McGonagall, so i do think movies got this wrong very much, Minerva's mother told her father very late that she is a witch ie after Minerva's birth. 5. Molly's brothers were great i really like them Fibian and Gideon Pruit. Yes they died in 1st war they were one of the best Aurors.

@@shuklavedant yeah Isobel ross was witch and Minerva father was McGonagall (muggle) but as per date of birth given on net Minerva as teacher during fantastic beast is not possible. So don't know what they did. Only possibility is that woman is some relative to Minerva or movie got it wrong.
