I watched the same thing happen to my brother. I was only 5th when he studied 12th(Computer Science grp for engineering) . He was sent to a boarding school which also coached for FITJEE. My brother had no one to take care of him and so too much stress got to him. He got fed up of studies and started reading novels during nights and began sleeping in classes and his test scores got really low. He cleared JEE mains, but unfortunately, he screwed up the board exams. In Chennai 2015, there was a very terrible flood as u all know, and so my brother was basically trapped and we couldn't bring him home. He had lost like, 20 kg due to hostel food and he was just skin and bones. I remember crying so much when he returned from that place. Flash forward to 2 years ago when he got into a moderate college and finished his bachelor's with no Arriers. All the jobs that they offered at campus placement were those of IT companies, and most of my brothers' friends took up any job that they could, cus of the crisis that was the COVID pandemic. My brother wanted to work at a job he loved which was design engineering. He loved everything that was art, design and stuff. Well, the world was pretty unforgiving on him ...Every website he looked up at (Linkedin, Naukri etc) looked for people with 2 yrs experience. Finally, he got an internship through contacts and he did that for 6 months. Boy was that harsh! His manager was pretty condescending and his job type was that of labour. So, he left and did his course on Auto CAD, Ansys, Creo etc. Their offices shut down when the second wave of COVID hit and they did not inform anything. He was practically jobless and he was constantly pressured to get a job. I offered him continuous support and helped in any way I could. Now, after a lot of perseverance, he is working at a job he loves! He inspired me to take the COmputer Science grp and now Im in 12th, about to write boards in a month

People go through hard times, Its horrible that your brother has faced such situation but I'm glad everything worked out good at the end. I know how tough it could be and this is why we all love VIP, its relatable and connects with our middle class lives. Anyway how did you write your boards? Hope you got into a good college :)) I'm about to enter 12th now, I enjoyed this film as a teenager and now its all coming to me I can see this before my eyes
