You can transfer sa OR if gusto mo lumipat. I have some friends that were hired in the ICU. And they found it stressful. Kaya nagpalipat sa OR. Kahit wala sila experience.

Hi. Hindi po. After the surgery, at pag labas ng OR diretso na sila sa recovery room. Ibang personnel na magmonitor sa knila.

Hi, could you please answer my question please. To become an OR nurse, do you have to go to university/college or only take nursing vocational training program?

cheeze you have to take a nursing course. If you are from the philippines, you have to take a bachelors degree in Nursing. But if you are already in Germany, you could take a 3-year ausbildung or training ( OTA or Operationstechnicher assistent ).

I‘m not really sure what‘s the difference between the two. But i asked my workmate who took OTA ausbildung. They can only specifically work in the OR. They do have theories and lectures in class like BSN. But i think they have more clinical practice in the OR compared to what i had before when i was in college. They are more trained in the OR so right after they finished their ausbildung, they can go and find work as an OR nurse. Unlike me, i had to take our licensure board exam in the Philippines, then be experienced and took B2 german language exam, then recognition here in DE.

M Chi if you are already a licensed nurse in your country, that will do. You just have to take a language exam and pass the recognition exam for nurses here in DE. But if you are going to study in Germany, you should take OTA or Operationstechnicher assistent ausbildung for 3 years for you to be able to work as an OR nurse.

Krankenschwester po ako since i finished my degree in the Philippines. It means pwede ka magwork either sa station, OP, icu, etc. pero kapag OTA, sa OP ka lng. Ang ausbilding or training is for OP tlaga kapag OTA.

Uso po pala ang sleep off dyan? Like from 3nyts-off-AM shift? 12hr shift po tlg kayo dyan? I thought 8hr shift lang tulad s pinas.

Annie Skiettles yes po uso din dito un. Pero hnd sya palaging ganon. Minsan sleep off then another 1 day off pa. 8hr shift lang kami for AM and PM shifts. But for night shift, weekend and holiday, 12 hours.

May extra pay po yun. Kaya talaga lumalaki salary pag madalas na magweekends at night shift.

stryder hiryu i started as pflegehilferin with gross income of 2200. Pero sympre dami pa kaltas dahil sa insurances and tax. But once recognized kna and doing all shifts, magincrease din.

Pflegehelferin ang entry level ko noon. Sa OR agad ako. Sabak agad sa work pero sympre may supervision ng mentor. Hmm regarding sa salary same lang din e. Pero pansin ko pinakamalaki kumita dito yung mga nasa intensive care unit.

Hallo Tin! How is it like to work as an OT Nurse there in Germany? That’s also my area, parang nakakatakot pag dyan. 😩 Pano yung rotation niyo as Scrub, Circulating and etc...? And please compare sa Philippine setting ng mga routine and tasks. Thank you. 😀
