I think it's more about what values you raised in. My dad's dad(paternal grandfather) died when he was 15. My hubby's dad's dad(paternal grandfather) died around same time. In both households grandmas were in charge of household till their last day. It's more about values you taught and relationship you have.

My eyes started flowing from the first few seconds and kept so while I was watching. God that pain in those eyes. God, I yearned of hugging each single one of these souls. I am so glad the video ended with such a beautiful note. All the love, hugs, and prayers for the didi who is doing such beautiful work. While I don't believe in sharing what country etc but if it helps blur boundaries, I will. I am from Lahore, Pakistan and watching this video again emphasizes how we need to support each other as humans. You know entire country has lot of such people who require help. We make a mistake by giving 100 % of our planned funds to one NGO. We must check thoroughly which NGO is doing what work and what difference have they brought to the lives of people. And list out for example 5 best NGOs in India. Then divide the money amongst those 5. For an example if i hv a budget of Rs.500 /month. I can divide it as 100 /ngo. Wt if thousand people decide to do the same? We give 100*1000= 1lacs to each NGO. Its in facts going to be far more. We make a mistake by giving all our funds(500) to one NGO 500....And one gets good funds rest are short of funds for work. Be smart to find out the good NGOs and then divide the funds equally. Lets chk Maitri and see wt we can do ......population is in crores.... Rs.50x100000 people = 50lacs

Thousands of widows are there in Vrindavan. If all these widows are sent to Mumbai or in Kolkata, they will die in a very short time. I have seen helpless widows and beggars in Kolkata. They struggle more than these Vrindavan widows. Nobody can control the grown up sons of these widows. They are compelled to beg for which Vrindavan is preferred over Kolkata.

On an individual level,try to raise your voice against the practice of such age old dogmatic beliefs prevailing in our society,which is the root cause of the problem. Please don't blame the children. They too miss their mother/ grandmother as much as the other. It is shame till today neither modi govt or Yogi govt of UP have done any thing for improvement of the life style of Brundaban vidhava who are quite alone far away from their friends and relatives.modi and jogi both are claiming hindu samrat but done nothing yet for the hindu helpless widwo which is most shameful.Thanks to iskon fir their extendind hands to these helpless ladies
