Thank you so much for posting this film. Edison's boyhood town was Port Huron, Michigan (my hometown as well). The film, "The Young Tom Edison" premiered in Port Huron at its Desmond Theater in February, 1940. Mickey Rooney portrayed the young Edison, and and also appeared in-person for the showing as did Mrs. Edison.
