What a neat place, almost like a little village, I expected more than two people living there, kinda like a little amusement park.

You can live off the grid in the USA. Utah, Arizona, Alaska ,Wyoming and Oregon allow it for sure and probably others. You can't squat on other peoples property of course but unimproved property is inexpensive and in some areas in the Mohave desert in Arizona there are places you can live for no charge. I live in the Mohave.

I would coat the steel barges with resin and drape plastic tarps across the bottom filling it with packing peanuts for added longevity also i heartell of wire mesh with low voltage direct current gathers material from the water creating something similar to an oysters shell😀

How do they get their living supplies such as toiletries or replacement parts for broken items? I mean they would have to go back to civilization at some point.
