As a guy that probably drinks way too much, and is struggling with life, your music hits me hard man. Keep it coming, it keeps me going.

I've never had to contend with those feelings, but this sublime and simple song about life's rich complications had me crying with my naive steps towards understanding.

I've tried to write something that could express my love for this song but I can't, everytime I listen to it it brings tears of sadness and joy to my eyes. Thank you for this new album

Well, looks like my life goal now is to be the second-best LGBT-themed songwriter besides Dave Carter *and now* Willi Carslile. Thank you so much for this album. Love to see you in San Francisco.

Damn, brother, you have this way of talkihng right to me with your music. I've been really digging into 'Peculiar, Missouri' and I'm getting a lot out of it! I really love this song and I've got that refrain stuck in my head as I think of my own internalized homophobia, lies, and shame (as you mention in the No Depression article), "Why's living a lie more easy than life on the fence?" Thank you for sharing yourself in your songs. It means a lot to me.

There's a truth in you music that one can't help but FEEL. It's inexplicable, I dunno. It just hits all the right nerves and gets me all emotional 😭

Mr.Carlisle I want to thank you. Your music has touched me in many ways. Though my dog is probably tired of me singing along.

Oftentimes singing can be a whole lot easier than saying. I imagine this is one of those times. I like to believe you felt lighter after penning the last lines of that one, at least I hope you did.
