I wish our ERs Drs and nurses were as friendly. It would make visiting there easier.

The personal stories of all of these patients tug at my heart...I hope they all do well in recovery.

Some of us have a sense of who we are from a very early age. I retired after 52 1/2 years in a variety of healthcare roles, ending up as a Hospice and Home Health nurse.

Sometimes you watch these videos and you see the person come in and then everything that they goes through and at the end you find out they’ve gone home they’ve had a good recovery, but some of them like this video brings you to tears. Like the girl that was trying to hide her bandaged wrist up. I remember what that was like when my ex beat me up so bad with handcuffs so I couldn’t move and the handcuffs he put them so tight that they were scratching my wrist the following day my friend invited me over and she lived just a few townhouses away, and she says what’s with the long sleeves? I told her that I had found it cold since losing the baby and she took my arm and said Pam never wears long sleeves in the summer, especially when it’s hot like this so she pulled up the sleeve and saw all the bruises and the markings. I told her what had happened. I waited until I had my second pregnancy delivered then five weeks later when I was strong enough, I left my ex, filed for divorce the next day and I went for counseling. I’m so happy that her grandma is there for her and that she’s happy and she deserves all the happiness that she could find out there in the world. She’s a bright beautiful girl.🥰 Poor guy that the truck rolled over him and damaged his leg so bad that there was a question if he was going to lose it or not. I’m glad he didn’t and that they were able to help him keep it. This was one of the sad stories to hear about how they lost their baby boy . You never forget them ever. I thought what a lovely family. They support each other so much and love each other so much.🥰 The elderly gentleman that fell on his face while taking his dog for a walk, seem to be a really kind elderly man. It’s awful that he lost his wife when his wife was 60. It’s always sad for the ones were left behind as I know all too well. My husband Passed away on our front lawn while out gardening. It’s been 3 1/2 years and sometimes I feel that I’ve just imagined it all and he’ll still be coming home from work. Then all the memories come back of that 40 minutes being with him while the paramedics did CPR and I just want to scream because of the pain that I have in my heart. It’s so hard to go on without your partner but you must. My 2 adult sons have been taking great care of me and I’m moving away from that day. 🥰

I'm shocked in Canada you NEVER go emergency unless it a emergency. We have a 4 to 6 to 8 wait because people go for no reason. Unless a leg or arm is falling off wait go to your Dr.

PLEASE FIX YOUR EPISODE LABELS, BANIJAY! This is clearly not Season 18 Episode 7. The episode description of that episode is: "Brooke, 12, goes into respiratory arrest after having a severe asthma attack; 76-year-old Howard has burns on his face and hands from trying to put out an explosion in his shed." This episode has none of those events, so it's clearly mislabeled, just like the last 6 videos of 24 Hours in A&E have been! The last 6 episodes were randomly selected from all different seasons between 23 and 32.

I am struggling to work out what was funny about this video. A man with a leg that had been runover who had lost a child at 4 days of age; an elderly man who was banged up after a fall who had lost his wife to cancer and a woman whose granddaughter suffered from such severe depression that she attempted suicide and had been injured at work.

Why should anything be funny?

@runnerbean5858. You are so right but I would ignore them / it. We are more than that. Not worth taking up the provocation, always the same photo, just a different name, always talking about being funny / unfunny.
