I get relief about 50% of the time with my Cala KIQ. I'm wearing and using mine right now and typing is much easier with my left hand, which is my tremor hand. About 40% of the time there is no difference and about 10% of the time, it actually appears a little worse. The VA provided mine. The current price is steep: $6,400 for the central processor, which snaps into the wrist band and connects with the band electrically. The wrist band contains six conductive rubber electrodes, three on the underside of the wrist and three on the upper left of the wrist. The watch bands must be replaced every 90 days and they're also quite dear: $750 apiece, or $3,000 a year. Notwithstanding, whenever I have a successful 40-minute session, it's marvelous to experience.

That's a BIG rip-off. There's NO miraculous parts in that gadget. That thing doesn't cost more than $40 to make. They could sell it for $100 and make a huge profit.

We people has neurological disorders as has tremors nor shaking any parts of the body we all know get that but the price is a bunch over the price of a tagged and it’s unfair and most of the patients specifically disabled and not able to work and unable to save that much of the price let’s face it the reality, medical science of technology give us a hope at least make it affordable to any one whom needed the most! Can this possible?

Must be approved by your primary care physician and insurance does not cover for non-veterans. $5k not worth it for me yet, although propranalol and primidone have not done anything for me. Trying strength and movement exercises with weights to see if that helps.

I see no reason why a Cala device would cost $5,000 . It’s made in China and I can’t see why it costs so much. I have one and I use it twice a day but I don’t see any relief.
