I run the Tractor Supply out of Waco. I have been here since Mid January and never had guarantees miles at least on the lease purchase side for me. But I do run a average of 2700 miles a week. Thanks for the info. You have great content and are always upfront and honest.

It was something new they had started and they decided to stop it pretty quick. I was reminded that it was the harbor freight account. I keep getting too much info to keep track of and mix things up sometimes. I found out today that it is only being stopped for the L/P drivers. Company drivers will continue to receive the guaranteed miles. Thank you for the compliment.

Has the cost of fuel effected your paycheck since the rise in fuel prices or does the surcharge make up the difference
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
When fuel prices are lower, the fuel surcharge helps more. The fuel surcharge doesn't go up as much as the prices do. But if you're only filling up what you need by the end of the week, and you're using cruise control, you won't notice too much of a difference in pay.

Hey do RTI have driver facing cameras?
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
Nope, they only face outwards. They also don't have sound. I know there are a few team trucks that have then facing inwards, but I think those are going away. They might face your camera inwards if you are constantly setting it off due to unsafe driving practices.

Glad u good homie. Question I got dimension violation tandems your far back big deal or no?
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
You broke bridge law. That shouldn't be an issue when getting hired. As long as you don’t have a bunch of violations, speeding tickets, accidents, and etc, then you should be fine.
@crosscountry91322 жыл бұрын
@@shadowtrucker210 ok. That’s fair enough. CSA points from that violation? DOT performed inspection
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
@@crosscountry9132 Ant time DOT does an inspection and write anything on the paper, then there are points involved. I'm not sure how many though. There are all kinds of lists for points but finding the right list would take forever. The easiest way to find out is by calling the state police and asking them.

You get paid by the mile that’s hard to see you would make 240 for the year, so your a lease purchase driver, what is your average gross a week
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
That's what the rough gross will be. I average $5,000 gross/week. Multiply that by 48 weeks (assuming 1 month off for vacations/family time) and that gives you $240,000. If I run more/less miles per week, then that will absolutely affect it. If I take more/less time off, then that will also affect it.
@terryb50002 жыл бұрын
What about empty miles are they paid the same
@shadowtrucker2102 жыл бұрын
@@terryb5000 Yes they are. The only miles that aren't paid are your miles home.
