courageous move you took but your obvious talent with the axe & composing really required it I am sure. Can't wait for an actual multisong album from you soon! Take good care of walking the fine line between your ambitions and overexploiting yourself... we control-freakish personalities are very talented at burning ourselves out! Take care!😊

Hey Connor, I can certainly relate to what you're experiencing. I recently left my job as there were some layoffs that were extremely unethical and it didn't sit right me. Since then, I've faced nothing but vilification from my family for making a choice that would ultimately lead to me being in a better place in life. I want you to know that you leaving a job is entirely your choice, and nobody has any right to tell you that you're wrong for wanting something better in life. If that's their response, they can fuck off. So long as you're not doing anything illegal, you're a free man that can do what he pleases. I hope you wind up finding something that falls more in line with what you want in life. I wish you all the best with your job search. It can be absolutely brutal out there.

Can’t wait for your new music! Loved your short form videos especially the Bareknuckle ones, hope some of it might be featured!

Ah thank you!!! I think a little bit of that stuff *might* just about make the album cut but a lot of the material is brand new and unheard! Some of it is older demos/masterclass pieces that I’ve turned into full tracks too ☺️

Recently lost my dog of 11 years, also getting my sleeve started! can completely understand where you're coming from. Nice to hear someone else with some of the same thoughts and experiences.

Watching this and the part were you talk about your badass doggo Max, you convinced me to finally get on with becoming a guitar builder because you're right; we're not here forever. Ive wanted to do that for 15yrs and its been "soon" for that long. Thank you for helping me, brother. The tat is sick and this is the first video of yours I've seen too. Hello!

Bro, congratulations again on such a big leap. I'm incredibly invested in where you go and looking forward to seeing it all. Life's thrown at lot at you and at least out of the grief you've made meaningful choices for you. I think you're doing exactly what you should. PS. I used to tattoo (been a lot of years now since I worked in it though) so huge respect for you doing the proper research into getting your work. It looks sick for it! Have a good one 🤘

Thanks Jack, means a lot buddy. Working really heard over here to try and get this music out the door in a respectable timeframe! Haha 😅

Well, i don’t know if that does mean anything, but you are the reason why i joined JTC.. even if struggle to implement guitar „learning“ in my daily basis. Therefore iam very excited what you will come up with in the future. And you are the reason why i considering strandberg… if it’ll be your sig or a used prog 6… i’ll see … but it’s a head to head race… besides the price tag. Keep rocking M8! Your music is awesome. You are a inspiration… all the best!

Ah mate! That’s huge! Thank you so much for the comment. The sig might be a little later this year when it finally does drop but I’ll keep you in the loop along the way rest assured ☺️

The arm sleeve is super lovely! The thing about tattoos that I love the most is how much of a self esteem boost it is, especially if it is done in a part of your body you're insecure about. It just makes you love youself so much more!

Hi❤❤ I love your vidoes soooooo much i just have one question: do you think the strandberg boden prog nx 7 is a good guitar for allround stuff? Because im thinking to buy one…
@ConnorKaminski6 ай бұрын
Thank you so so much!!! Absolutely, I've been loving mine ever since I got it. I've got it in drop Ab at the moment and whenever i need to do the heavy stuff, thats the guitar im reaching for. I just didnt get on with the fishman fluences but i think im in the minority with that?

Congrats on taking the big leap to pursue your dreams Connor! Being able to see/hear about what and how you're doing things in not only your musical career but also your life is super inspiring to me, and to many others as well. I remember reaching out to you on Instagram in the fall last year, not really expecting one of my hands down favorite artists with such a busy schedule, to take the time out of their day to not just respond, but converse with me, and to offer a hand with material you have written in the past. It's hard not to "fan-boy" too hard when one of your guitar heroes is personable with you, directly through dm's and indirectly through update videos such as this. It's incredibly inspiring. Listening to your material, plus watching your videos, has pushed me to have the drive to progress as a hobby guitarist, and makes me feel like it is possible to learn the techniques I need in order to become a well rounded guitarist. I'm rooting for you, and hope all the success to you in 2024 and beyond. I am extremely excited to hear more material from you (in the form of short videos and full length albums), plus being able to get my hands on one of your signature .strandberg* guitars. I hope to become half of good as a guitarist as you have, and create music that inspires me like yours does. Cheers man.

MATE. What a comment. I’m speechless! Thank you so so much for stopping by. I can only hope I live up to your expectations going forward with my upcoming projects and music! I actually start work on my next masterclass (all about soloing in the prog world this one) tomorrow so wish me luck! It’s a biggie haha!
