Good Hello Everyone trust me i'm no minion lol if anything I feel that she was still trying to "sugarcoat" the sponsored videos part. The sole and main reason why she does them is because it's her way of making money. She obviously makes a lot more now so she can have other people help out vs. being a one-woman show. The "I want to make sure everybody gets paid" part is corny af.

this is one of my favourite things about ingrid. She could have put the title as something really clickbait-y, like "do I have a girlfriend?" or "breakups" or whatever. She could have put the thumbnail as the bit where she cried to get views. but she went straight for telling us exactly what the video is and didn't draw attention to the delicate content or exaggerate for views. i love you!

I lost touch with Ingrid's videos for a while but I've just binge watched a load and I had completely forgotten just how amazing she is. I've never felt more inspired by a creator online; if you're reading this Ingrid then: Hey! You are in LA and I'm in London but still through a screen you manage to inspire my day to day life and just get on with it. You make everything so positive and happy and sometimes everyone just needs to put things into perspective and learn to love themselves and that's what you've taught me. So, thank you! Love this idea! Would love to hear Ingrid talking about being a #girlboss! Especially since Ingrid - along with Estee Lalonde - seems to get a lot of flack for having nicely edited videos and assistants and a studio to work out of. These are all things that are completely normal for a businesswoman to have and I feel like some are just not used to seeing women in that position and so it's interpreted as inauthentic or too calculating. To me, ingrid's success is so inspiring! Would love to hear Ingrid's thoughts on this!

Please try and adopt an older cat if you can. They get passed by a lot because people want a kitten simply because they're 'cute'. I adopted my older cat 6 months ago, and she's the best! Definitely think a lot about it before you get a kitten, it might not be suitable since you travel frequently and having an animal is a commitment, especially a kitten .Just a suggestion :)

I love how you broke down the sponsorships questions. As a South African KZbinr, we barely make anything from KZbin in the first year or two of our channels but brands help keep the lights on hey. It baffles me to think that so many youtubers have to explain sponsored videos. How else are they suppose to pay their bills? Imagine if you questioned your doctor or bank teller why they are getting paid? What they do is a career. An awesome one, yes! But also a very difficult one. Most of these youtuber did what they do for years without making one penny.

Marcela There are a lot of much better ways to come across with sponsored videos. I watch from creators where all videos are sponsored but I won't feel a thing about them selling out. Ingreed is different. And she rarely put disclaimers in her description box which is very shady. That is why she has almost 4 mil follower here however cannot even pull more than 500k views per video, which says a lot.

Marcela well they get enough of only advertisement on KZbin. Many other youtubers don't do sponsored videos so it is not necessary. KZbin pays for views and she has enough

A better analogy would be a doctor receiving money from a pharmaceutical company to prescribe their drugs and saying their prescription choice has nothing to do with the money they get and that they are only prescribing the drugs they genuinely think are the most effective on the market. With the number of views she has, she already gets a decent amount of compensation from KZbin for every video she makes. Those sponsorships are more like some extra money beyond her salary. I'm not saying I wouldn't do the same if I were in her shoes. Everybody wants whats best for themselves. I'm just being objective. I've been a subscriber for years and I almost feel like I grew up with her.

One of the reasons I unsubscribed was because I felt like I was getting nothing but advertisements from her, so good on Ingrid for defending herself and breaking down everything for her viewers. Hi Ingrid - I have been watching you for years. I feel like in a way, we have grown together. One of my favorite qualities that you've always had is being genuine. I think sometimes it frustrated me with the way people commented on your videos in the past saying that you had changed and you "weren't your old self". I always kind of laughed at this comment because I've always thought to myself, "I'm so glad I'm not my old self." You have always so passionately and fiercely pursued growth and change. Even though you had that little segment about you recoiling from the internet after your break up to spend time with yourself, it's only 6 months later and you're already gushing about a new girl. I have so many thoughts on this video. My brain is moving faster than my fingers can type! First thing, I think it's great that you addressed everyone's questions about sponsored content. I think it's sad you had to do it in the first place since people were giving you so much unnecessary crap about it. It should go without saying that you need to earn a living, but sadly, people don't realize this. But now, as long as they watch this video, they should stop complaining. I think you are AWESOME! And I'd love to see more travel videos. Your video a couple years ago about Portland, Maine inspired me to do a road trip with my spouse and we ate at The Holy Donut and now no donut will ever live up to my high expectations, because they were TO DIE FOR!

...............................You can't really be with Nugget because you travel a lot. Yet you want a KITTEN. Girl......Think REAL long and hard about this. I'm getting a Russian Blue kitten from a shelter (rescued from a hoarding situation; she's REALLY small maybe the runt of the litter-they're the "Tea" litter of the shelter tee hee) and she's 2 and a half months old. I already know she's gonna try and be an escape artist (she tried and nearly got out of her room in the shelter a few times whenever we all went in and out) and she's a talker like MOST Russians are (not all but some)....I know they're very clean, refined lovely cats. But they don't like changes to their routine. They don't adapt well to change. It's something I need to really think about how to handle should I move out of Arizona. Long story short, I'm working full time, BUT am still dedicating a lot of time to this lovely lady. Do you think you're going to be ready for a kitten with your busy lifestyle?

TheBlueGirl18 she'll still be traveling. anyone who travels even "a small amount" shouldn't have a kitten. maybe a young adult like a 1-4 year old since they're much more independent. I'm going to have a lot of work cut out for me just with a full time 8-5 job PLUS the little girl. I have plans set in place because I've thought of this for YEARS since I graduated college but my sister is allergic so it couldn't happen. now that I'm all by myself it's the right time. it feels right and we clicked right away. I'm just hoping that she's actually ready for the responsibility of a tiny fur baby especially since it looked like Nugget didn't really work out. she says it was more for mom but I'm really getting a "also because I travel but I would get all the hate I'd I said that lol" I hope this doesn't sound preachy but....I love cats they're amazing but take some work and can be easily misunderstood if people read their signals wrong. how can your know your cat if you're not there a lot? I'm just worried lol. I'm gonna stop now hahaha

I think it COULD be good for her though....If she's going through bouts of depression there are cats and dogs that can become Emotional Support Animals so....In the end if it works out I'll be happy for her and future fur baby. The main reason I'm getting a kitten/cat is because I suffer from anxiety and depression. Cats can be amazing remedies for those two stresses in life. :) I can't wait till I get my own fur baby. Her sister has to be adopted out and she has to get several other booster shots and I'm all set ^_^

I'm so sorry about the heartbreak, I remember the gut wrenching agony of self loathing it left me with. Spurts of crying on public transport and the foetal position whilst watching Netflix. Thank god for RuPaul's Drag Race, it made me smile when nothing else touched my sadness. I will never forget that time in my life, I know it humbled me and if anything make me kinder. Ingrid I only know you through the screen of social media but I am so sorry you felt that kind of pain. However to feel such pain, you don't tend to take happiness for granted. It is understandable if you do not want to vlog a lot or that you make sponsored videos. What was missing in your (not so) recent videos, was the real contact with your audience, since your videos felt like polished commercials (whether they were sponsored, or not - that did not really make a difference). So please keep this energy that you have brought back in this video, going. Believe me, it is what we like most about you.

GIRL she travels ALL THE TIME. Her lifestyle DOESN'T. FIT. A KITTEN. An older maybe young adult (as in 1-4 years old) sure because their personality is already set in, they're much more independent. But a KITTEN takes a LOT of time and patience.
