Just got hired at a hospital here in Texas I don’t see a lot of men in the radiology field but I’m not going to let that stop my dreams I’m going to get the school through my job and hit the books hard. You definitely motivated me keep killing it queens!!

It’s good to see another black rad tech. My clinical sites never had one. I’m in my second year & graduate in May 2023. I applied twice. The program is very hard & productive. I’ve been looking into doing MRI or CATH Lab. Congratulations!!!!!

Hey gorgeous! I'm thinking about applying to a rad tech program, but am so nervous I won't be able to handle the work load/get super stressed!! Obviously all med programs come with stress, but how do you cope/handle it? Is the program really as difficult as people say? Or is it just super demanding of your time?

It’s definitely challenging and i have faced ALOT of adversity which i will make a video about. But time management is sooooo imperative in a program like this but if you want to talk more just Dm me on insta and i can tell you more

yes it is beneficial and nice to see that you are in a job field that doesn’t represent alot of people like us!!! I am in the program now and I am the only one of color in the program which makes it hard some days!! But it is nice to see you are in the program!!!!!

Why didn’t do choose nursing? And I’m debating of entering the rad tech or lvn program. People tell me lvn has more options.. can you do IVs? Or give shots? Is that a option?

Nursing never even been an option for me tbh and i don’t have knowledge on LVN . Mri and Ct start their IVs

You will have a physics class however if you want to do an MRI after you get certified that requires alot of physics
