Wow Adam, thank you so much for your transparency. I’m grateful for everything you’ve taught us so far. You touching on becoming a parent and it completely changing your mindset really resonated with me. I have a 16 month old now so I’m literally crying as you talk about it 😂. I just want you to understand that what you’ve done with the Sell Music Masterclass is remarkable. The time and effort you’ve put into it does not go unnoticed and I truly appreciate it. It’s top tier! The program is organized and very easy to navigate. I joined at a very dark time in my life and you were so kind to me when I fell short. I’m definitely one of the students that did not put 100% in after learning the knowledge due to life. I literally heard and agreed with everything you said and taught. My lack of action has absolutely nothing to do with you as an instructor, you are absolutely amazing. Personally speaking, I just could not grab the reigns on my personal life and also there was a ton of fear present that I absolutely could not shake which sucks. Hearing you talk about that specifically definitely made me feel something. You’re right, being infront of the camera is unnatural and you have to be a determined, disciplined and confident person to do it consistently and like you said you have to want it. It really confuses me how anyone can question your credibility due to our lack of action (some of us). People don’t know the full story and that’s why this video is appreciated. It’s always about perspective. I just want you to know that a lot of your strategies I’ve taken with me throughout life and although it’s not music, I’m a current esthetician student and a lot more confident on social media and the camera. Your strategies work for estheticians too 😊. I’m still trying to learn where and how to do both. I still love music and haven’t completely stepped away but I appreciate you! Thank you for all that you’ve done. Take care of yourself Adam. May God continue to bless you and your family. I’m always here to soak up what you’re teaching simply because I like your style of teaching and you’re a great person. Thank you again.

Thanks for the update video and good luck with your next adventures! I never got to submit to your program by a hair! Because I got a full time job that drained my time, so I have very little time left to make my music project my business and my main income source. I still fight for it though! One or two hours a day after work and on weekends, as much as possible. And, instead of time, using my new resource: MONEY (not too much available for promo, rent still knocks at my door), and Andrew Southworth's channel is an amazing guide. So stoked to find out you were his mentor! Anyway, thanks for the content and advised you provided over the years. I was a bit late to the game, but still was able to get something! Cheers 🍻

Thank you for your honesty. Having started several businesses myself I know exactly what you went through. I am a traditional boring business type guy and I followed your channel strictly to see if starting a channel and social media business would be something for me. I have learned a lot from you, mainly for me it was your work ethic and time management, and I have learned that although I can do anything and learn anything, there's a certain comfort that comes from anonymity and that for me is crucially important. People are as good as good can be however they can be as bad as bad can be, and unfortunately social media gives the bad ones a certain courage to confront people when in real life they would be too chickenshit to do the same face to face. That kind of stuff would eat away at a person's patience and it can affect your life, so for me it's better to keep private. I respect you for leaving it all out and I'm exited to continue following your journey. I'm in FL as well and I think if we met we would be instant friends because I have the same values. For what is worth, know that at least for me you are a value to my life and I love you for that so thank you Adam and keep driving on man.

“The the the the the the the the the…” -Adam Ivy ***I have never resonated with a person more than when they stammer to figure out a word they know but it’s clawing its way out of the back of their mind hahaha 😂 love your realness, love your honesty. Praying for you and your family, my wife and I are about to have kiddo #2 (#1 is 20mo!) enter the world and have wrestled with all of the same questions you have. Adam, thanks for being so candid. I really appreciated it. You have motivated me to get off my backside and start creating. For years I watched your channel kidding myself that it was to help my son with his music career (he doesn't need or want my help!) but its actually me that needs to stop procrastinating. yes I have a decent corporate job, but there is more to life! Today I'm going to achieve two things - I am going to edit the concert video for my wife's performing arts school that I was supposed to finished before Christmas and then I'm going to make a video for my channel and start putting some effort in instead of constantly watching stuff and doing nothing (it won't be very good I'm sure but it'll be a start!). All the best - looking forward to more of your video's.

Thank you for acknowledging this. I see people on KZbin who do not have children talking about peaceful Morning Routines, hustling, self care routines and organising time to include all sorts of activities, to create a perfect looking life. The assumption is that we can all do this. If you have kids, and no childcare help, no family near-by, you can’t live that kind of life. You are watching people living that life, telling you to do it, and not acknowledging that we all can’t.

Hey Adam, as soon as I saw the title I felt I knew exactly what I was gonna hear. You're moving on from what tou used to do. Endings make me sad. So much so that when I ended a relationship in college, while i was studying audio engineering, i stopped caring about most things i used to enjoy, including music. This was all around the pandemic days. Even though those were challenging days for me, you were always a source of immese inspiration and motivation for me to lock in so to speak. You were/are passionate, intelligent, and as far as I can tell, very hard working. I almost dished out some money for a program with you. Maybe I should have/could have but that's not my main point. I just want you to know how much of a blessing your content was for me, and from the looks of the comments here, also very many other people. Congratulations on the beautiful things you have in life.

I really thank you for this kind of honesty and this just makes me respect you even more, although I have always respected you. As some other people have said here, when I felt discouraged I watched your videos to get some excitement and motivation. I think this is the most important thing I learned from you: "use what you have until it pays for what you want". I've been stuck with content creation for several excuses: I don't have a good camera, a good mic, I don't have this and that" and I wasted years because of this. Then when I studied Sell Music Masterclass and you showed how one can make content with a shoestring budget I was blown away. I'm going to stay here and watch your videos because whatever you do, I think you have many good lessons to teach to others even if it's not related to music anymore. Have a great weekend!

KZbin is a HARD life, pretty much every single KZbinr I can think of from 2010-2020 all hit burn out especially when you don’t really expect it to take off but even when it does it’s a careful what you wish for kinda thing. It’s only a matter of time before Mr.Beast himself rolls out a burn out video lol …. You’re an OG brotha! And have a phenomenal talent for this game even if it’s not natural to you. But just like songwriters and musicians, people change, the original mission changes, life changes, and we have to evolve and adapt. KZbin will always be here, your kid will grow up FAST. Enjoy those moment and thank you for the value over the years!

@AdamIvy good video. We had some pretty parallel paths. When my daughter (first child) was born, I was a careen military man. Suddenly, as a senior chief petty officer, I was looking at deciding between leaving my career or joining the civilian world. I left as soon as possible and now none of my children have any memories of me in uniform. All of the advice you five is dead on, and if I could stress any of it, I would say that it's important to remember that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. I've retired from two careers now, and my children are grown and and on their own. I could give them the best advice I had in my toolkit, but it was up to them to use the good, leave the bad, and make the best with the tools they have. Rock on, and I look forward to more in the future.

Hey Adam, I wrote down on paper a comment before watching the whole video, and those words are unnecessary. I hope I can inspire even a little bit with the following story: I entered the 2nd year of my undergrad studies in October and due to *Reasons* it was just too much pressure. I picked up meditation and deep meditation since, went hard on the more spiritual side of things (Which sounds weird. But cultivating a grateful & calm presence, and increasing passion & motivation via better sleep is such a different, less physical kind of work). I also convinced myself to stretch the studies (Physics & Biology) to four years, and not view myself as any less for that (some *Reasons* I couldn't affect or predict in advance). And the last thing I'm going to continue on, is the interpersonal sharing of this journey of mine, going along other's journeys for their improvement of mindfulness.

I'm a musician of 50 years. Been with and surrounded by the highest level to this day. All this stuff with content, YT this new age stuff is mind bending. The music industry has completely changed to pretty much destroy artists. Have aYT channel there are always people who want to destroy you. Winding down the musical side not because of anything except there's more to life. You cannot change your outer world until you change self. This world is merely a reflection of you. I highly recommend Neville Goddard.. book: Feeling is the Secret That's it. Try it.
