HEYYY FAM 🙋🏾‍♀ 🗣️ ALSO SO IM CLEAR I don’t want any issues: I did not take or pass the New York bar!!! Technically the UBE bar exam I took in Alabama in 2019 when I graduated is the same as New York because both states are UBE bar exam states. My score at that time was high enough to waive in but the score is only “good” for so long and at that time I didn’t think I’d be needing a NY bar license. So now I’m in a Reciprocity process which is different. Further, I handle federal issues thus not state specific issues. If it crosses that line, the other attorneys at the firm handle it. My job description is heavily consulting in the areas of influencer contracts, brand partnerships, negotiating strategies, social media marketing and educating on legal needs in the creator economy. Alllrighttt now back to the video lol Sorry for the delay in posting chiillleee y'all know how brand approvals go and it's a busy time of year for so many of us but here's a lil tea on how NYC life is really going 👀. As someone with a short attention span, I find videos that short cutting in audio visuals, words on the screen and other clips to be more engaging. MKBHD does a really good job of this. Not a tech girly but I always watch his videos through the end for all the info.

I will NOT hold myself BACK!!! An attorney I used to work with took the DC Bar because it was not as challenging the NY Bar. NJ Bar may be a good option but I don’t remember how that state works. Question: would the Delaware Bar be a good option? I think a lot of businesses are formed in Delaware ( I used to work with Patent Litigation attorneys and there were plenty of lawsuits filed in Delaware). Either way praying for a seamless process for receiving your NY Bar license!
