I was told by my mom...if you want a good friendship you have to go find someone and be a good friend to them. Served me well over my 67 years. It keeps me out of my own head and looking to be good to someone else

You’ve been through ALOT. Now that you’ve explained yourself, there’s no longer a need for you to justify yourself to strangers any longer. You do you and those who are keen to follow along with you will. All the best!!! ❤❤❤

First- you owe no one anything in the way of explanation. Viewers on the internet quite often feel they have the right to opine on what you are doing and act as if they are bankrolling your channel when for the most part, your content is free to them. Regardless of who you are, the past year around the world has been a lot for everyone in one way or another. Kudos to you for stepping back, for trying new things not in your comfort zone, honoring yourself, and for putting one foot in front of the other every day. You do you and whatever works for you in this season of life.

It’s hard making friends and maintaining friendships as an adult. You are not alone in that. Hopefully that’s a bit of comfort. Also, try workout classes (the endorphins are REALLY game changing) or other group activities. Learning a new language with adult learners… that kind of thing.

We all struggle and have good days and bad days. I think it’s a fantastic idea to sign up for classes and step out of your comfort zone and stay busy! I’ll watch your short form videos 🙂👍

Make videos that are true to you and you will find your tribe! You are beautiful. I can relate to the lack of connections. You are really brave to admit that. I think you are doing the right thing by pursuing your interests and you will meet people organically. I feel like I am a boring person… i have interests but day to day, my life is boring and I’m ok with that but I have lost relationships over the years. Take the time you need and do the things you love❤ ps. Also have ADHD and I don’t think I could be a content creator because it’s HARD but you do a great job 😊 editing would stress me out lol Just try what you love! Give it time! Again, your people will find you. Don’t do what doesn’t feel right for you❤ ok I’m done! I look forward to watching you express your creativity in any form

Haven’t watched it fully but have to cut in and say I love you, sending prayers and hugs and love your way❤️🙏🏻❤️🫶🏻 Edited: Um, you could totally do music. I genuinely loved what you did on your bathroom renovation video, where you had very healing deep tonal music playing over what you were doing. You’re a storyteller, and I full heartedly believe you could do something with that! The poetic story you told about not feeling like you could achieve things due to what people have told you in the past mixed into the layered vocals was absolutely BEAUTIFUL . PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not ever let someone online or face to face try to make you feel less than bc you tried (and I believe succeeded) something new bc not only did it bring joy to your soul, it shook our souls as well❤️. Take those music classes! 2025 is going to be your year of self discovery and if you care to share any of it with us, it would be a treat for us as well but at your own pace and with your own boundaries🙏🏻 God bless you babe!🫶🏻✌🏻

Sometimes when you turn your creativity into a job- it suck’s the fun out of it- as an artist I speak from experience! But your creativity will always be in you- it’s who you are- and if you decide to make more videos I will watch them and enjoy them! Take care of yourself- go get some endorphins from a gym! Hugs!

It’s upsetting to me that I can’t share life with a best friend and go on girls trips, or go shopping or sob on the shoulder of…I have my dog and that’s it. If she goes away I’m truly going to be lost for a while. Thank you for sharing. This message was relatable ❤🙏🏾

I can 110% relate to what you're feeling. I went through it right at the start of 2020 so I wanted to say you're not alone and it's perfectly okay not to be okay, ADHD and all. I've only seen a few of your vids, so this may not mean much from me -- but I'm proud of you for taking your bandwidth into such heavy consideration. I also get the disconnected thing...but I'm solo on the road (just me & my cat), so it's a very different experience. I have found, though, that when im feeling "disconnected" it's because I'm disconnected from an important part of myself. It's usually creativity and movement, which are the first things depression steals from me when it visits. You're loved.

It was so good to see you. You are so talented. Don't give up. I've watched you from the beginning. So many creators struggle with comments. People are just plain mean these days. One person I follow does not read the comments to protect her soul. It might be something to consider. Also look into hiring an editor and/or a manager. I've seen creators burst out after hiring one. I know money is an issue but there are probably different scales. We are here for you and can't wait to see your shorts!

Hi Dalia! I’ve been a longtime subscriber but admittedly I haven’t watched your videos in a while. This video brought me back to your channel though and I watched your video about being Muslim right after. I recently reverted to Islam (did my shahada in Aug 2024) and wanted to say thank you for sharing your story with us. I 100% resonate with what you had said, even though I was raised catholic. From one sis to another, you are so appreciated! Keep finding your light and your community. JazakAllah khairan.

Moved to Canada 7 years ago and I've always felt this. Never truly connected, never felt the depth I'm looking for, always feel as the outsider, the different one, the ones who accepts but is never accepted. . It's always surface level. I'm too exploring ways to eventually find those people. One or two even. I am good at corporate but it killed me. I felt that. I'm still in it though lol.

You don't owe anyone and explanation regarding anything. Your personal life is exactly that...personal. Being a content creator does not give views the entitlement to have that kind of access to you. That type of access is a privilege that is earned. Be true to who you are and those who appreciate your creativity will continue to be here for it. ❤

The internet is actually moving away from short form and is leaning more towards long form like the old times .... So if u r more comfortable with long form even if u make less videos I think go for that even if it's less edited videos that's documentary style ... People are now gravitating more towards raw content that's less polished less edited etc

I completely understand what you are going through. Since the pandemic started, my life was turned upside down. My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. One of my sisters got bedridden because of MS. My dad passed away almost a year ago. My sister with MS moved in with me. These past year and a half have been extremely difficult and challenging, so I hear you. You are strong, hang in there. The best thing there is, is a day after another. We'll make it through, believe. ❤🩹
