It is good to see you and Chungi back again. As someone who has been previously divorced, you need to be true to yourself, being stuck in a marriage where you cannot agree is the worst. My ex and I are still friends, we are both remarried, I have a kiddo, he does not. It was the right thing for us. Take time for yourself to heal, Chungi should absolutely help with that, tell her that is her job now. Sending you peaceful thoughts and a safe journey. Don't let anyone tell you your reason for divorce is not valid. No one should be stuck in a relationship with someone who doesn't have the same desires for your future. 11 years is a long time to be together and a long time to change your mind or go from being on the fence to standing firm on one side. I know it hurts, but this is the best decision for both of your futures.

I’ve had men break it off for less (cats of all reasons), and I honestly I am happier alone. I’m 39, beyond child rearing age. I tried to find a partner that wanted to have children, but found that I wasn’t dating material apparently in my 20s or 30s. It wasn’t until I became a nurse and lost a significant amount of weight that anyone found me “date worthy” and by that time I was done and happily single! It’s a strange world out there and it will be hard to navigate without your spouse for a short while, but I follow many single women van travelers (WITH CATS) and they manage. Congratulations on a new adventure, I know you won’t think of it that way but it will be worth it. ❤

This is a huge source of misinformation and research has shown that our fertility lasts far longer than originally thought. If you don't want kids be responsible and get on birth control that works for you. Otherwise you're not being responsible and will have a child you do not want.

Firstly, sharing this life update was very brave of you. 💛 Second, this is such a mature approach to relationships and marriage, specifically. People change and their ideas for themselves and their lives do, too. You and Logan obviously have very fond memories with each other and those don’t disappear just because your marriage is ending. I’m not exactly sure where this idea came from - that two people need to sacrifice their own goals and ambitions just for the sake of staying together when they would both be happier and truer to themselves if they parted on good terms. People are always changing (friendships, romantic relationships, careers, workout styles, diets, makeup choices, hair styles) and this idea that you need to endure everything that is no longer aligned with what you want for yourself is strange, IMO.
