My mother lived with chronic pain because of her MS and so much other garbage with her body. You go from A to Z and she had something. Anyway, she passed 2 years ago but I see the same pain and struggles in your face, and I can see there were a few times you were holding back tears because you were hurting. I'm sorry you're going through that, and being so young too. I'm disabled too but consider myself lucky in that I'm not in chronic pain. ( I get pain but it's not constant) and I'm sure you can more than relate when I say some days are worse than others and getting outta bed just isn't an option. Anyway, I watch another YT who also suffers, she has EDS and she put out a video that I wish I could've shown my mom. Sadly it came out just months after she was gone so I wanna share it with you. In some regards it's helped me get though the really tough days, maybe it will help you on your tougher days as well. She talks about 'building a ladder.' It's very relatable. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nGTYd2Z7pbiNg9k Thank you for sharing your story, it's not easy, and living a life of pain is hard. I wish you more better days than bad, and keep loving those ponies

I share a lot of the same health issues/diagnosis as well as similar interests. Ive just binge watched all of your videos and love them. Thank you for sharing! Q: Will you teach the minis to drive/cart? Its something that I have thought of doing since riding is so challenging
@eliseblair1404 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Hope you’re doing well currently. Yes, I’m 100% going to cart Biscotti once she turns 3! I’m going to show her in the driving classes too. Saffy I haven’t decided yet, as she’s more refined, so can enter different classes than Scotti. We will see how she matures and whether she will look good under cart! 😊

You are a warrior and warriors never quit that’s all I want to say… 🍀 I’m a 27yr male from a asian country. At the age of 17 I was diagnosed with pretty rare neurological disease called “Chiari malformation”. Basically my hind brain had a space issue that was destroying my cervical and thoracic spinal cord from the inside (as a cyst). As a result I was having so many neurological issues with my hands, shoulders and upper body. However I had a surgery and magically it stopped progressing. Then I got back to normal life and pursued my engineering degree. But no my body got no chill! Right after getting out of the university I started having severe back pain. Lots of tests, xray and mri later I was diagnosed with degeneration of 2 of my lower lumbar discs and also like you all of my cervical discs are degenerated and pressing against the cord which is already atrophied due to previous issue. For this I also have pain at the back of the head similar to you. 6 months ago I had a fusion in the lumbar region but that didn’t solve my problem rather aggravated my back pain. Now I’m on the verge of disability. I can’t work or function normally. I stay in my bed 90% of the time. I also have tinnitus recently. Depression, anxiety and hopelessness have been a part of my life since was 17. (Just sharing my story)

We have different health issues, but we both live the same way. There are drugs designed to interrupt the pain signals the nerves receive. These drugs are not opiates, but can be used with them. I use gabapentin. I'm not a doctor, so I don't know what would work for you, but it's worth an ask of your GP. If you are able to block some of your pain without as much need for opioids some of your stomach, and bladder issues might improve. In my experience doctors only deal with what is in their wheel house. They don't often think outside the box. Sometimes my sister will research treatments and drugs for me. We have then asked my doctors about some of her finds,and had success with them. You are so sweet, I want you to feel better! Thank God you have a great support system in your family.I wish I had a friend like you when I was your age!
@eliseblair1404 жыл бұрын
Terri Row I’ve already tried lots of those other neuro drugs such as gabapentin, amyltriptaline etc. They don’t cut it for me unfortunately, which is why I’m on a high dose of opiates now and liquid morphine for emergencies. I have been going to a pain specialist since I was 16 (now 22), so have worked through all the options over the years. My bladder is a neuro issue to do with the cyst on my spine and is a permanent condition not to do with the drugs, as is the Gastroparesis. I have had these conditions for a long time now, even before I was on the opiates. These are the only painkillers that have remotely worked for me so far, so we have stuck with them since then. Thank you 😊

@@eliseblair140 I'm sorry nothing has worked so far. I wish I could have been helpful. I live with my sister, and I complain to her everyday over morning tea. For me it's therapeutic.

The front to back curvature is kyphosis. I had mine "repaired"(HA!) when I was 11. I was told I have scoliosis in my upper spine, DDD, lordosis, and arthritis in my lower lumbar and sacrum area. But even the spinal specialists refuse to give an actual diagnosis, they will show me on the x rays, but nothing on paper. So I look crazy when I say I have pain and no diagnosis for proof.

For the Gallbladder issue, are u taking any Digestive Enzymes? Really helps me! Some 2 years or so after the gallbladder surgery, my stomach seemed to adjust to some fatty, hard-to-digest foods.. I still can't drink alcohol, even a bit, nor eat certain foods like a raw onion, super-rich desserts, etc! That's where the over-the-counter Digestive Enzyme meds come in, also! Supposed to take with every meal, every snack! I wish Doctors would teach us these things.. I had to do a lot of research.. Later, my new Droctor suggested a special Salt's Supplement, (the Anderson's Health Solutions) Low Sodium, ConcenTrace Ionic Minerals & Trace Elements (from Utah's Great Salt Lake), 10 drops a day in a glass of water! It contains concentrated desalinated Salt Water, Magnesium, Potassium.. "Helps to metabolize the carbs, fats, proteins, and helps the development and maintainance of bones and teeth! Helps tissue formation and proper muscle function! A natural source of electrolytes!" Make sure the doctor tests your liver enzymes, and, maybe, an abdominal Ultrasound! Esp with no gallbladder, a liver takes over, a possibility of the Fatty Liver Disease developing! As well as because you are taking opioids, the liver enzymes could go up! I hope this helps! ☺️🌹

I have invisible disabilities too, not as bad spinal issues as you but kinda close. I gave up riding (just for pleasure, I love horses) but couldn't afford one, I've worked with them, groomed in exchange for lessons, but I gave it up actually bc I had a bad concussion and I don't want to take a risk of worse head injury by riding. I do hope to groom them again though. Bless you, I just found you on a suggestion, and subbed, we have things in common. I'll have to catch up!

I appreciate that may help some, but everyone copes in different ways. I see others everyday due to the horses. I however have absolutely no interest in actively socialising outside of those I am around on a daily basis. Having to go out and cope with my pain levels whilst knowing it annoyed my friends wasn’t a great feeling. I avoid that for a reason now.

@@eliseblair140 Well they just sound like pretty crappy 'friends' if you ask me. Maybe you need better ones. But yes I completely understand. Tbh I'm an introvert, being around people too long judt exhausts me anyway. But then I used to have severe social anxiety too anyway, so I've spent alot of my life alone like you, and yes I agree with people doing different things to cope. Glad to hear you're around atleast some people during your day though. That'll atleast help you not spiral further x ...and then when you're ready, maybe you'll meet the world again, even if just in short little bursts 🙂
