Life with Pulmonary Fibrosis | Portraits of PF - Tom Frey

Nineteen years ago, Tom Frey witnessed first hand the attacks of September 11, 2001. Tom reflects on the long-lasting trauma of not only living through the attack on New York City but also the impact on the health of those at Ground Zero. After a routine check-up with his doctor, Tom was told that he had Hodgkin's Lymphoma due to his exposure at the World Trade Center and from working for months in the rubble. The chemotherapy treatment to combat his disease caused him to develop pulmonary fibrosis.
Now, Tom is a volunteer ambassador and support group leader for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Tom shares his story with the hope of raising awareness and asks for your support for PF research and to help those living with this disease.
